Only a few months after the launch of the SQ8, Audi Sport unveiled the new super sporty RS Q8 version.
Named the ‘king’ of Nurburgring’s fastest SUV, having finished the fastest, with 7:42.235, this RS version is the company’s fastest and most powerful SUV in the Q range.
Like the new models revealed recently, the RS6 Avant and the RS7 Sportback, the RS Q8 uses a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo petrol engine in combination with a semi-hybrid system producing 592 horsepower.
The eight-cylinder ‘muscle’ makes this SUV goes from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds, with only two tenths of a second slower than the Lamborghini Urus.
From 0 to 200km/h in 13.7 seconds, the maximum electronically limited to 304km/h, as with the Lamborghini Urus.
Audi will launch the RS Q8 initially for European countries in the first quarter of 2020 at a starting price of 127,000 euros.
