Ferrari F8 Spider is a convertible version of the F8 Tributo, but also the successor to the Ferrari 488 Spider.
The car is stylishly complemented by the F8 Tributo, which differs from the rigid electro-folding roof and rear body, which had to be modified. The roof is raised or lowered for only 14 seconds, and both operations can be performed while the vehicle is in wolking, but only at speeds of up to 45 km/h.
Compared to its predecessor, the Spider 488, the Ferrari F8 Spider is 20kg less, and according to manufacturer Maranel, the car’s aerodynamics has improved by 10%. From zero to 100 km/h, the Ferrari F8 Spider accelerates in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is limited to 340 km/h or 15 km/h more than the Spider 488.
F8 Spider is not the latest new model to be unveiled in 2019 by Ferrari, after the premiere of another cabriolet, the 812 Superfast Convertible, has been announced for September.
According to the AP, the Italian company executive promised to launch 15 new models in the period from 2019 to 2022 and significantly increase the average retail prices of cars.
Otherwise, the average price of Ferrari models last year was 274,000 euros.
