Call of Duty: Warzone is currently slated for launch in early March
Although the battle royale for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has yet to be announced, dataminers seem to have confirmed it. Now it’s all a matter of time. This mode is supposed to be called Call of Duty: Warzone and will also be available individually, so it’s free to download. Another recent report suggests that these rumors are true.
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently slated for launch in early March. Although some early speculation suggested that Warzone could be launched this week, the report suggests that the launch is at least a few weeks away.
Warzone is really the Custom menu option that Modern Warfare players have come across. Reporting says the game will stand on its own as a free-to-play. A week ago, analyst Daniel Ahmad said that the mode was coming soon.

Activision seems to be hoping that a modern Warfare free-to-play segment will bring more expansion to the gaming community. Blackout of Black Ops 4 was a great perspective on the genre. Let’s hope the same thing happens with Modern Warfare.
