Mercedes EQV, practically a V-Class turned into an electric car

Mercedes-Benz today revealed its latest electric car, the EQV model, and is the second in production.

Formerly presented in the form of a concept, EQV is designed for private buyers who want not only comfort but also practicality. The official debut is next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The distance that the EQV can travel with a full battery charge is 405 km. Power is stored on a 90kWh lithium-ion battery mounted on the van’s floor to improve aerodynamics and provide maximum interior space.

The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes. The engine power is distributed on a 201-horsepower electric motor, enough to send the car 3,500kg at 160km/h.

The car comes with power regeneration technology through the braking system, a process that will increase the distance that the car travels with a single charge. With power regeneration through braking, Mercedes says the EQV can only be operated with gas pedals.

The internal dimensions of the EQV are as much as the standard V-Class model on which it is based. Six, seven and even eight seats can be installed. The EQV will be built in two sizes.

The MBUX Infotainment system comes standard with 10-inch high resolution screens. They show real-time switching and power consumption. The system can be controlled with voice.

European EQV buyers can use the Ionity charging network which will consist of 400 stations across Europe next year. The Mercedes EQV retains the V-Class’s silhouette, dimensions and style but has a new EQC engine grille and 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior will be fitted with gold and blue ornaments.

EQV will go on sale in 2021 for €65,000, about €15,000 more than the base V-Class.

Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series has begun the testing process

Last year Mercedes-AMG has also expanded to the GT R Pro and GT R models with track focus, and it has been announced that this version will also come as the Black Series within a short time.

Tobias Moers is the chief of the AMG, which announced that the model will be launched in 2020, and now reporters dealing with new models have seen it tested on the road.

During the process, this car had large camouflage layers, which did not hide large openings in the front, believed to have cooled a power engine.

So far, the Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series seems ready for production, while it is unknown when we can at least see the final version, which seems that it will be very good.

2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Debuts more Powerful than Ever

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 and the GLC 43 Coupe are updated for 2019 with a fresh style and more power.

Performance SUVs will arrive on the market this year, at about $60,495 for the standard model, which is about $2,500 more than the older model.

Both versions are powered by a modified version of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine. The rotating power remains the same 520 Nm, while the engine power is increased by 23 horsepower, and is 385 horsepower.

As such, both SUVs have an acceleration of 0-100 km/h for 4.9 seconds, as well as electronically limited speeds of 250 km/h. The engine feeds power through a nine-speed automatic chassis on all four wheels of the car.

Like the old Mercedes-AMG GLC 43, 69% of the engine power is sent to the rear wheels. GLC 43 comes with self-regulating amortization, performance brakes, and special program for automatic truck.

AMG Dynamics steering mode selector is also a standard part of the car. In terms of styling changes, they include the redesign of lanterns, a new AMG radiator grille. Also the 19-inch AMG tires are standard, but buyers have the option of choosing another 5 styles.

The seats come with three color options: black, red or gray leather. The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 is equipped with Mercedes’s MBUX information system

2020 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 Officially Revealed

After a long time, with some parts and photographs being tested, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 was finally officially unveiled.

This updated model has a 2.0-liter engine that produces 382 horsepower, which it sends to the four-wheel drive system, with the ability to shift to eight speeds.

Through this model, that speeds from zero to 100 miles in hour, it’s four seconds, Mercedes will rival the Audi RS3 and BMW M2.

So far, Mercedes has not announced the price that the AMG CLA 45 will have, which has high technology, comfort and looks very good.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB Completely new Revealed

This new model will have enough space for seven people.

The German manufacturer has introduced the GLB model, the exterior of which is very similar to the G-Class.

Though it appears to be small in size, it has the capacity to sit seven people, offering even high comfort. There are only two versions, presented so far, such as GLB 250 and Edition 1.

The outside appearance is similar to the concept that we have seen a few days ago, only the grill is down, the ceiling has no agressive lines and the wheels are smaller.

With a platform like A-Class, it offers two rows of seats, while the third is optional, while between each of the seats is a glass holder as well as a USB port.

The driver has a seven-inch screen information system as well as another in the same format that is touch sensitive.

Installed in this Mercedes are also Apple CarPlay and Android, as well as the MBUX system that can be controlled with voice.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is the 2.0-liter engine that produces 221 horsepower, while it is said that the speed of zero to 100 kilometers per hour can reaches in 6.9 seconds.

The launch is expected to take place at the end of the year, when it will be known the price it will have.

2019 Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 Shooting Brake Unveiled

After Mercedes-AMG introduced the four-door CLA35, it was only a meter of time to introduce a more practical relative.

Finally, the German company has also introduced the CLA35 Shooting Brake that combines the style and performance of the sports compartment, with a broader ceiling and rear door, for more luggage.

Tobias Moers is the AMG line manager, describing this model as an attractive alternative to new buyers wanting to be part of AMG Driving Performance.

Like the AMG CLA35 this version also has a 2.0-liter engine that produces 302 horsepower, enabling speeds from zero to 100 kilometers per hour to reach in 4.9 seconds. The maximal speed is limited to 250 kilometers per hour.

To fit with added power, the Mercedes-AMG has completed the chassis system.

Under the engine, a tile was placed and two extras were added to increase the hardness, while the wheels were fitted with 13.8-inch drives for a better braking system.

The interior has undergone many changes, with high comfort and advanced technology, including the new information system.

The launch of the Mercedes-AMG CLA35, is not yet known when it will take place, and is expected to happen as soon as possible.

Brabus Black Ops 800 and Brabus Shadow 800 limited Editions Revealed

Over the past week, Brabus transformed a Mercedes-AMG G63 S into a beetle with 800 horsepower.

The German company has now received attention to the work it has done on two Mercedes-AMG G63 SUVs in limited edition called the Brabus Black Ops 800 and the Brabus Shadow 800.

Vehicles powered as super-cars are offered in only ten units as part of limited edition. Both engines are powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 800 horsepower.

This modification has made speeds from zero up to 100 kilometers per hour, reaching 4.1 seconds, while maximum speeds are electronically limited to 240 kilometers per hour. To distinguish it from other models, slight visible changes have been made, including 23 inches wheels.

Black Ops 800 is presented in a totally black color, which is also the interior, where most of the parts are covered with leather. On the other hand, the Brabus Shadow 800 that has dark gray color is expected to be introduced during an activity soon.

2020 Mercedes-AMG A35 debuts at New York Auto Show

Those who want a sporty Mercedes, but the CLA35 AMG model is very rounded, then there is a very adequate option, Telegraph reports. Although they have the same platform, the A35 AMG is a much more convenient sedan.

The two cars presented at the New York Auto Show will be launched in the coming year, while they will have a prize of $45,000, but the exact price has not yet been announced.

With the same engine as the CLA35 AMG, which has 302 horsepower, the A35 AMG the speed from zero up to 100 kilometers per hour, can reach it for 4.7 seconds.

The Porsche Macan rival carries the 4.0-liter V8 engine, with a starting price of $104,300 when it arrives this summer.

The new AMG GLC 63 gets a respectable re-design compared to the standard 20-inch wheel, new LED lanterns, bumper and more aggressive backpack, deeper side edges, wider aerodynamic hubs and exhaust pipes trapeze shape. Buyers have the option to choose even the largest 21-inch wheels.

The car is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine, available in two variants. The initial level model has 469 horsepower, while the most powerful S model has 503 horsepower.

Both engines feed their power through nine-speed automatic transmissions on the four car wheels. The most powerful model offers an acceleration of 0-100 km/h for 3.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 280 km/h.

To cope with additional gnats, the Mercedes-AMG has rebuilt the GLC platform with adaptive shock absorbers, six-piston brakes, and electronically-controlled differential lock.

The GLC‘s all-active steering system is also rebuilt with a new torque control unit. This unit allows the SUV to automatically change the running state (with active tires or all) depending on the road conditions.

Inside, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 has received the usual AMG updates. Part of these updates are the sports seats, the AMG multifunctional steering wheel and the new dashboard.

The two-screen MBUX platform has also been updated with several specific AMG menus, which provides information such as engine data, run times, and G-Force

The extra package that buyers can choose is called ‘Energizing‘. It features several interior functions such as lighting, climate control and music. According to Mercedes, this package brings functionalities that improve the driver’s well-being during long journeys.

2020 Mercedes GLS: This is the BMW X7’s most ugliest rival

Compared to GLE, Mercedes GLS has a higher chromium dose in the body of the car. The rear end employs a similar but not the same design with GLE, with narrow LED headlights.

However, the features similar to GLE do not end there because the cabin also has the same headline design. But this is not a bad thing, considering that the interior of the previous model was old, and now looks special with the new design, thanks to the high quality materials.

The cabin offers more space than ever, especially in the second row of seats. The chassis is longer than 60mm, making it longer compared to the BMW X7.

Customers will be offered a variety of engines to choose from. Mention the latest mild-hybrid 48-volt unit and six-cylinder engines in a line found in GLE.

The AMG versions will have the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 family engine. All models will have automatic transmission at nine speeds.

Mercedes also made some works on a Maybach ultra-luxury GLS variant. The most expensive member of this range will differentiate itself from other models with the bumper, wheels and front grille that will be unique.

The new Mercedes GLS will be officially unveiled at the Car Show in New York on April 17, 2019.
