2020 Audi A3 Sportback 30 G-Tron

2020 Audi A3 Sportback 30 G-Tron unveiled

Audi A3 Sportback gets a G-Tron variant with the same sporty look

Audi has revealed the new A3 Sportback, which can be driven not only with gasoline but also with compressed natural gas (CNG). In addition to liquefied petroleum gas, methane (CNG) is another propulsion option that saves the driver and also helps nature thanks to low CO2 emissions.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Cars that can use CNG as fuel are well represented in Europe, so many manufacturers offer versions of their models in methane.

Among them is Audi, which has just introduced the A3 Sportback 30 G-Tron with compressed natural gas engine. Moreover, this car can also use biogas as fuel. It is powered by a 1.5-liter TFSI turbo-gasoline engine that produces 131 horsepower (96 kW) and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is linked to a 7-speed automatic transmission, and the power is transmitted to the front wheels.

The German manufacturer states that the A3 Sportback 30 G-Tron accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 211 km/h. The car has three CNGs (two larger and one smaller) and a petrol tank. The average methane consumption according to the NEDC standard is 3.6-3.5 kg/100 km, and CO2 emissions are 99-96 g/km.

If the gasoline and two larger CNG tanks are filled “to the top”, the car can travel 495 km. The petrol tank is located behind the rear axle and has a volume of 9 liters, while the capacity of each of the two largest CNG tanks is about 7 kg, and they are located under the luggage. The smallest is also in front of the rear axle.

The Audi A3 Sportback 30 G-Tron, among others, is equipped as standard with LED headlights, a 10.1-inch multimedia system display, a digital instrument panel, and a lane departure warning system.

The price of this model in Germany starts at 30,705 euros and will reach European stores during the fall.

My First Car

What Should My First Car Be Like?

A car is a valuable investment. It is one of the most important things which many people wish to buy at some point. However, a car requires careful considerations because a slight mistake might make you lose your hard-earned money. It would be best if you understood what you want, researched what’s in the market, and then set a good criterion for buying it.

You should also prepare financially, mainly if you don’t have enough savings and rely on credit. So, don’t let the excitement of owning your first car overwhelm you. Settle your mind, and plan the following things regarding how your first car should be like.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Set Your Car Buying Budget

Budgeting for car ownership isn’t just about paying the car payment; there are other associated costs, like your basic needs’ expenditures, insurance, fuel, and maintenance costs. Figure out a price you can afford and of your class as per your earnings. Consider your savings and ways to cut daily expenses to attain a realistic budget. You can use a hire purchase loan secured against the vehicle, meaning you will own it after the final payment; if you can’t afford to pay it all at once.

Should you buy New or Used?

This is another crucial decision that you’ll have to make based on your budget and research. Used cars or rather second-hand cars are less expensive to buy, and no waiting for the car to be delivered and made. On the other hand, new vehicles have the reassurance of the manufacturer’s warranty, which covers costs if a fault happens within the specified period. In line with what experts from westsideauto.com.au suggest, you should weigh the two options to make an informed decision. Buying a new car may be an excellent and viable idea for some, but you can, too, find a great second-hand option that will be perfectly good as new and get the peace of mind you deserve.

Get Insurance Coverage before You Drive

Cars require ongoing operational costs, such as insurance and tax. These costs can be hefty for you if you spend the money on the initial purchase. To save you from frustrations, you should call an insurance company and get a quote based on the year and the car model before signing on the bottom line for your dream ride. Insurance providers like predictable and stable drivers for they pose less risk of costly accidents and faults. Just make sure you find reliable and trusted agents who can help you make the best decisions.

Do You Want a Manual or Automatic?

By the time you consider purchasing a car, you should make up your mind or else have an idea of whether you need a manual or automatic one. If you enjoy driving and would love to go for long drives, a manual car would be the best because it’s more engaging and the best for beginners to learn. Eventually, you may upgrade to automatic. You may start with the automatic car, too, if you live in urban areas and have little driving experience. Don’t hesitate to involve a professional to help you in choosing the best.

Availability of spare parts

It is less stressful when you choose a car model with available spare parts at local dealer shops or a garage for its easy to maintain. Negligence on understanding the market spare parts and components leads to significant troubles at times or later stages leaving your vehicle stranded or somewhat abandoned. A careful examination of spare parts’ availability must be before finalizing a particular model or brand based on your interests and preferences.

Take the Car for a Test Drive

Drive the car before buying to know if that’s what you exactly want. Remember that the vehicle may have all features you want, and appearance and reputation, but be incredibly uncomfortable and won’t necessarily handle as expected. For both new and second hand, all car dealers allow aspiring car buyers to test drive to get a feel for the car they want.

So don’t hesitate to do the test, get a valid driving test, and visit the dealer of your choice. When test driving, check if the clutch is thoroughly engaging, its performance, how is the acceleration, any odd sounds? Confirm that the brakes are responsive too. Inspect all the parts so that you can make an informed decision.

Buying your first car can be a daunting experience despite your age or budget; that’s why it requires so many decisions to make and significant moves to make you drive home the one that’s right for you. So, follow the above tips, do you research what’s in the market and make an informed decision. Don’t rush the process to avoid making costly mistakes.

The new Maserati MC20 with 622 horsepower arrives

With 622HP, the MC20 reaches 0 to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds while having a top speed of 325km/h

It has been almost 16 years since the last Maserati supercar. In recent years the company has become more dedicated to the luxury market leading to “once upon a time” another legendary company. But exactly in time to beautify 2020, finally, the company brings a supercar under the name MC20.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The design and exterior shapes are more than elegant. Maserati has decided not to put on a sporty tail or aggressive splitter, instead has decided to make a combination between aerodynamics and art, putting every bend and line at the performance function.

The front is very low and very open, ready to inhale all the air of the runway. The rear is accompanied by two long stops that compliment at best, and moreover the glass above the engine is covered by a lid in the form of the company’s iconic fork.

The new Maserati MC20 will rival the Ferrari F8 Tributo and McLaren 720S with a top speed of 325km/h and a price of 205 thousand euros. The new supercar marks the beginning of a new field for this brand, in which it becomes a direct rival to the Italian brands of luxury sports supercars.

The Maserati MC20 will have the ‘Nettuno’ twin-turbo engine produced by this company, which is the first after 20 years. It’s a v6 3.0 bi-turbo and produces 622 horsepower which goes to the rear axle from an 8-speed transmission. With 622 horsepower, the MC20 reaches speeds from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 325km/h.

Avoid These Common Pitfalls When Thinking of Buying A New Car

Buying a new car is an exciting and often necessary experience. People either bar a car because they are ready for an upgrade and would like to consider a vehicle that they have had their eye on or they purchase one out of necessity. Both of these types of buying require a strict process of following 6 important steps to ensure the vehicle meets all of the buyers’ needs.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The 6 mistakes that car buyer’s make when purchasing a car are:

Not knowing their credit before walking into a dealership

Not knowing your credit score before walking into a dealership is never a good idea. It is important to have your credit ran before you start shopping for a new vehicle. In some instances, this might give you a chance to work on improving your credit so that you could qualify for a lower APR. In other cases, a fantastic credit score gives the buyer an opportunity to shop around for the best financing available and secure a loan through a bank with better terms and conditions than the one the dealership may utilize.

Not knowing the value of a trade-in before walking to a dealership

Not knowing the value of a trade-in before walking into a dealership is a bad idea. It is typically better to sell your vehicle outright before you attempt to use it as a trade-in. This is not always possible. Perform extensive market research so that you know your cars market value. This will prevent you from settling for an unfair trade-in price.

Setting their hearts on only one particular make and model

Setting your heart on one particular make and model is never a good idea. While you may have a type of “dream car” in mind, it is important to remember there are more like these available from different car manufacturers. Be open to looking at vehicles from different manufacturers; you may be surprised and find you like a car you never would have considered previously.

Focusing on the sale price and not considering additional fees

When shopping for a car it is easy to get hung up on the sticker price. While the deal might look good on the piece of paper stuck to the window, this is not always true. The number on the car is the price of the car. That sale price does not include any fees the dealership may tack on, financing or registration dues. Remember the number you see displayed on the vehicle is not the final and lowest price.

Not test driving the vehicle prior to purchase

You must never purchase a car without test driving it. Even if the car is brand new, it is a good idea to take it for a spin first. You may absolutely love how the car looks and the price may be right but then when you drive it you may realize it is uncomfortable.

You may dislike how the seats feel or find the features inside are not what you had anticipated. Even if you test drives one particular make and model but decides on a different car of the same make and model, test drive that one as well to make sure it’s everything you are expecting it to be.

Feeling pressured and unwilling to shop around

Some purchasers will spend hours at a car dealership. It feels as though the entire day has spent walking the lot, test driving cars, talking to managers to get the price negotiated and then sitting in the finance office.

Out of nowhere, the paperwork doesn’t match up and things seem to have gone wrong quickly. A lot of buyers are afraid to walk away from a bad deal and will be pressured to sign the line anyways. There is always some car at another dealership. Never let yourself feel pressured to purchase when you feel as though the deal is inadequate.

Avoiding these 6 common car-buying pitfalls will help ensure your car buying experience is more pleasurable. Be open to different makes and models, know your credit score and don’t buy unless you feel comfortable with the proposed sale.
