Xiaomi is gearing up for the big launch on August 29 where the company plans to bring a 70-inch 4K Smart TV, Redmibook 14 with 10th Generation Core i7, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro and possibly MUI11.
Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand of budget phones, has previously confirmed the design of the Note 8 Pro and one of the two models will have the MediaTek G90T processor.
Today Redmi has officially confirmed the design of the Note 8, the standard version, and comes with the Snapdragon 665 processor.
From the images we see that Xiaomi has chosen two different camera designs where the Note 8 is characterized by a module on its side and the Note 8 Pro by a central module.
The post on the social network Weibo says that Note 8 has a 48-megapixel main sensor, a wide-angle sensor, a macro sensor and a fourth sensor for image depth.
Redmi also said that this phone has a Snapdragon 655 processor which uses Samsung’s 11-nanometer architecture and has appeared on other models like the Mi A3. This model is an upgrade to the Snapdragon 660 we’ve seen on the Redmi Note 7 bringing less battery consumption and more.
