ThinkStation P620

AMD used the debut of the ThinkStation P620 to introduce the 3995WX processor which is the first Threadripper to have the Pro brand. The Workstation is based on the BXB-B chip and provides support for PCI3 Gen 4 and 128 PCIe lines.

The Threadripper pro line has a host of features that focus primarily on security. These are Memory Guard, Secure Boot, and TPM 2.0. The 3995WX model is the flagship of the Pro line. It has 2.7Ghz and 4.2Gz turbo frequency, 288MB cache and 280-watt TDP.

Lenovo says this is the only Workstation PCIe 4.0 and presents it as an option for those who want to save on P720 computers with two physical processors.

In terms of memory, this computer can be equipped with 4TB SSD and 7,200rpm HDD up to 16TBGraphics rely on two Nvidia Quadro RTX 8000 cards or four Quadro RTX 4000 cards allowing the use of several monitors simultaneously. Even in connectivity, this computer does not lag like four USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two PS/2 ports, one 10Gbps Ethernet port.

There is no detail left other than the price. The ThinkStation P620 starts at $4,599 when it will go on sale in September.
