A graphics card capable of 8K gaming while having a dizzying price
Nvidia has managed to build a graphics card capable of 8K gaming at 60fps with ray-tracing while having a dizzying cost. Based on the Ampere architecture, the flagship RTX 3090 costs $1,499 and overshadows the previous generation RTX 2080 Ti according to company CEO Jensen Huang.
The company has unveiled the next generation of 3000 series, and this time they come with Ampere tech to greatly improve speed and performance. The best card, the GeForce RTX 3090, is even capable of delivering 8K 60fps graphics including ray-tracing. It effectively replaces Titan series cards but will be more available to the public.

The RTX 3090 comes with 36 Shader-TFLOPS, 69 RT-TFLOPS, and 285 Tensor-TFLOPS. It packs up to 24 GB GDDR6X RAM and will cost from $1,499 in the US. Expect to find it from Nvidia and other retailers by September 24th.
The new graphics card will take up three PCI slots and brings with it the full potential of Nvidia airflow. But what sets this graphics card apart is 8K gaming. The company claims it can handle games at 60fps at this resolution thanks to the extra power and DLSS technology. Like the cheaper 3080 and 3070 variants, the RTX 3090 is among the first graphics cards with HDMI 2.1
Nvidia says the RTX 3090 can achieve 36 teraflops performance compared to the RTX 2080 which has 13.4 teraflops. It is also 50% more powerful than the Titan RTX. Comes with 24GB GDDR6 VRAM compared to 11GB of 2080 Ti. Despite Nvidia advertising 8K gaming, monitors at this resolution do not exist. But what the RTX 3090 is 4K with real-time ray-tracing. The graphics card has a 12-pin power connector.
The other version is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, a direct replacement for 2080. It will cost from $699 and be available from September 17th. Its main specifications are 30 Shader-TFLOPS, 58 RT-TFLOPS, and 238 Tensor-TFLOPS. On top of that is 10GB of GDDR6X RAM.
And lastly, the cheaper version, an RTX 3070 will also be available, priced from $499. Coming in October, it is claimed to be faster than 2080 Ti, which represents an amazing value for money. The main specifications are 20 Shader-TFLOPS, 40 RT-TFLOPS, and 163 Tensor-TFLOPS. It will also come with up to 8GB of GDDR6 RAM.
Each of the cards comes with dual fan technology, with attractiveness capability, absorbing air from one side and exhaling it to the other side.
