Galaxy Tab S6 is Samsung’s next attempt to challenge the iPad

The newest competitor of Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with a stylus pen included in the package and an optional keyboard.

The tablet goes on sale September 6 for $649 for a model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory. The version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory will cost $720.

Samsung says it will sell an LTE model by the end of the year. Currently the Tab S6 stands at the top of the line of Samsung tablets including the low-end Galaxy Tab A and high-end Tab S5e.

It has a 16:10 10.5-inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, much like the Tab S4 but Samsung has reduced the screen frame. The latter features a fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has also reduced the tablet’s thickness to just 5.7mm and weighs 420 grams. On its sides are four speakers, two in each. The Tab S6 has a Snapdragon 855 processor and a 7,040 mAh battery for 15 hours of usage.

At the back of the tablet is a dual camera with a standard lens and a 123-degree wide-angle lens. Also on the back is a magnetic boost which makes the stylus pencil stick to the tablet.

This pencil has features similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9 such as activating the button camera or sliding a PowerPoint document. Samsung has redesigned the keyboard to include a smaller trackpad. It costs $179. In terms of software the Tab S6 comes with Android 9 Pie and version 1.5 of the Samsung One UI interface.

In size and functionality, the Tab S6 is more of an iPad Air competitor than the expensive iPad Pro model. But Air costs much less but it has a more developed operating system and application ecosystem than the Tab S6.

As for the Samsung solution, it’s hard to hear anyone today choosing a Samsung tablet as opposed to an Apple option. Maybe with Microsoft Surface there might have a chance.

VW Golf GTI TCR By ABT gets 340 HP

Volkswagen Golf GTI is one of the most popular and sought after models on the market, which will continue for some time.

But like any other car in the GTI there is always room for improvement, or creativity to change for the better.

Volkswagen Group has also been offered a version of the Golf GTI that has been modified by the Abt Sportline, which is much more powerful and wilder than the current model.

While the current model has 290 horsepower, in the modified version it has 340 horsepower, making the speed from zero to 100 kilometers per hour, which so far reached in 5.6 seconds, with the new format could be done in two seconds faster.

Its top speed also increased, from 260 kilometers per hour, to 263 kilometers per hour. Although not looking an great grow, it has been fitted with the new suspension system, which has made this Golf much more agile on the go.

All of this, officials at Volkswgaen disliked, refusing to produce the Golf GTI, which is good enough.

As promised Google is ready to make websites respect “Incognito” whether they like it or not. The company launched Chrome 76 for Linux, Mac and Windows, closing a gap that sites used to track private browsing.

If you are tired of sites that require you to pay to read articles, then you are lucky. We have tested and it works with at least some media that previously did not allow visitors to “Incognito” mode.

The sites will not be liked at all. Most of them know that people use Incognito to avoid “Paywall” and by requiring visitors to sign up to read articles, they easily track visitors for free.

Now you either have to find another way to detect Incognito, or accept that these users will go untouched in the future.

Huawei’s first 5G phone goes on sale next month

The Huawei Mate 20X has already made its UK debut and will now go on sale in the Chinese market. Huawei actually unveiled another 5G phone earlier this year, the Mate X.

It was the company’s first folding phone that was originally due to launch in the summer. However, Huawei decided to delay the launch of the device in order to make some improvements to the overall durability.

Chinese carriers have already been granted licenses to start their own 5G commercial networks. The company will now start selling their 5G phones as 5G networks come out gradually.

Huawei has begun receiving pre-orders for the Mate 20X in China. It is expected to begin shipping the device on August 16th.

The latest MediaTek processors are built for video games

When we hear the name MediaTek the first thing that comes to our minds are budget gaming smartphones, yet the company is determined to change that perception.

The chip designer unveiled on Monday the family of Helio G90 processors with features and performance for the latest and most intense games. The G90 and G90T are eight-core processors that use 2.05Ghz Cortex-A76 cores for heavy tasks and Cortex-A55 for light tasks accompanied by Mali-G76 800Mhz graphics and up to 10GB LPDDR4X RAM.

With the use of HyperEngine, G90 chips promise to reduce bottlenecks. Like many phones it uses LTE to assist a problematic Wi-Fi connection. It can also operate two different Wi-Fi bands. MediaTek also promises to reduce touch stoppages, prioritize game processes and resources, and image quality.

Photographers will enjoy up to 64-megapixel camera support. But the company did not specify when the first G90 phones will come and who they are. Indeed, the purpose of MediaTek is to show how powerful its gaming chips such as Fortnite and PUBG are. However they will not be at the level of the best, Apple or Qualcomm.
