BMW has launched the hybrid BMW X3 SUV at the Car Show in Geneva.
The BMW X3 xDrive30e will begin production in December. The hybrid plug-in engine has four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with the electric engine. Combined output is 248 horsepower.
The car has an all-wheel drive system. For 6.5 seconds it reaches 100 km/h. According to the company, X3 can only make 50km with electric power.
The lithium-ion battery is located below the rear seats.
BMW X3 hybrid was introduced in Geneva along with some other hybrid cars of the company, where some to mention: Serie 2, Serie 7 and X5.
