2021 Volkswagen Golf R seen fully without any camouflage, months before its debuts

The new generation of Volkswagen Golf R will not be officially revealed yet, but now this model has already been photographed completely during testing.

Within weeks, when the Geneva Motor Show kicks off, we’ll be able to see the new Volkswagen Golf GTI. The eighth generation of this car has been awaited for a long time, until now it has been seen several times while being tested on the road.

Compared to the older version, the new one looks much more aggressive, with new LED lights much longer, as well as a lower platform. Other changes are very minor and have more to do with the conclusions some of the lines have undergone.

Tthe Spy photos of the Golf R show off its super-sporty features ranging from exhaust pipes, colored brakes and sporty front air vents. A recent leaked document from VW confirmed that the Golf R will have will have the 2.0-liter engine that produces 328 horsepower, making it the most powerful variant with 32 horsepower more than the previous model.

The new Golf R is expected to reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.5 seconds.

ABT’s Audi RS Q8 reaches speeds of 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds

ABT has revealed more details about the latest model (Audi RS Q8) which received more than just power.

Last month, the renowned German car maker ABT Sportsline announced it would reinforce the 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 engine powered by Audi models, such as the RS6 Avant, RS7 Sportback and RS Q8.

Now, ABT has revealed more details about the latest model (Audi RS Q8) which has received more than just power, writes carscoops.

ABT has upgraded this Audi RS Q8 for 99 more horsepower, which is now 515 kW/690 hp. Likewise, this blue-colored exterior beast now hits speeds from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.5 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the standard model. Top speed has not changed, it reaches up to 305 km/h.

The company also offers new ALC buffers (ABT Level Control) on three levels. ABT Sportsline also says it is working on some new updates for this model.

Nikola, a company specializing in eco-friendly SUVs, has entered the US market. Nikola introduced the Badger wagon on Monday.

This electric SUV can make 965 kilometers with just one fill.

Badger is able to reach speeds from 0 to 100 km in just 2.9 seconds. Continuous output is rated at 455 horsepower. He should be able to handle a trailer load of more than 8,000 pounds. 5 people have space inside.

With the car, the manufacturer competes with Rivian, Ford, Generals Motors and Tesla, who have also announced their electric car.

According to Nikola, the first vehicles will be seen in September 2020. No price has been announced yet.

New Audi S3 Sportback Official Details Revealed, will Come with 306 HP

The regular A3 hasn’t been unveiled yet, but Audi is already giving us a first taste of the S version

After the debut of the new Volkswagen Golf 8 and the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia late last year, as well as the fourth-generation Seat Leon last month, the time has come for the Audi A3 Sportback, too. This is expected to happen early next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

Audi has yet to reveal the S3 Sportback, but has invited media representatives to take a closer look at the shooting of this prototype in Portugal, more precisely on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores archipelago.

The Audi S3 Sportback will have a 2.0-liter TFSI Turbo petrol engine with a capacity of 306 hp, 10 hp more than the current model.

This Audi model is expected to be a strong competitor, such as the Mercedes-AMG A35 and BMW M135i. In addition to the powerful engine, the S3 Sportback will also be available with the all-wheel-drive Quattro, as well as all models from the Audi Sport department except the Audi R8 V10 with rear-wheel-drive only.

Some days before, Bentley partially showed off a mysterious car, based on the Continental GT, while not revealing the details.

It was said to be a single car, with no idea what it might be, so far the answer has been provided. The word is about a Transformed Continental GT Ice Racing car that will be part of Austria’s GP Ice Race Zell am See.

The scattered images show the applied colors, similar to those of the Continental GT, that became part of Pikes Peak International Hill last year.

Inside it has the same 6.0-liter W 12 engine producing 626 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds, while top speeds of up to 333 kilometers per hour.

Visible modifications are very minor, and there are updates to suit as many frost and snow tracks as possible. The car’s platform is higher, to better accommodate the larger wheels by 0.59 inches from the Pirelli, the lights from the Laser enable greater visibility, while the exhaust system is from Akrapovic, who usually builds these parts for Continetal that are more special.

TopCar’s “Inferno” package costs almost $45,000 (about 40,000 euros), while the engine of this G63 continues to be the same – 4.0-liter V8 Bi-Turbo with a capacity of 430 kW/585 horsepower, combined with automatic gearbox with 9 speeds.

The car with which Koenigsegg hopes to break the 500 km/h barrier

Bugatti was the first to enter the 300mph+ (482km/h) car club with the Chiron Super Sport 300+ in September last year.

Although the car from the factory comes with a limited speed of 440 km/h, the customer who ordered such a car can lift this limit.

Koenigsegg already wants to break the 300-mph barrier. When presenting the Agera RS model at the Geneva Motor Show a year ago, the company mentioned a Jesko 300 variant that can climb up to 482.2 km/h.

Koenigsegg is confident that Jesko will break its fastest Agera RS record of 445 km/h. There are even reports that the company is working to break the 500km/h barrier.

In March when the Geneva Motor Show arrives, Koenigsegg will bring the Mission 500 model that can reach dizzying speeds.
