Google Pixel 4 will have one of the world’s fastest smartphone screens

Google has the chance to become the first smartphone maker to control the phone with gestures without touching the screen, thanks to a unique technology.

According to 9to5Google, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have 90Hz fast OLED screens. Like the OnePlus 7 Pro and a few phones of its kind, the Pixel 4 will have an ideal display for playing games and watching high-frequency video.

Some tricks may have even been saved for the camera. It’s no secret that the Pixel 4 will have two 12 + 16-megapixel rear cameras, and speculated they will feature a DSLR level performance.

Both Pixels will come with stereo speakers while the rest of the specs are family-friendly like the Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage.

The screen’s “Notch” has been eliminated in order to create space for gesture radar and facial recognition sensors.

Google closes Trips app, switches the functions to Google Maps

Support for the Trips app ends today and places stored in will be available on Google Search as long as the user is logged in with the same account on both apps.

To find the most visited attractions and places a user can search for “my trips” or go to the new and improved Google Travel page.

Google first launched this site in September 2018 and included many features that were then offered in the Trips app. The focus now will be on bringing users back to Travel.

In Maps, searching for a destination or finding specific places, points, restaurants and much more can be done by going to the Explore section.

By clicking the menu icon users will be taken to the places saved in Trips.

Starting today, private browsing in Chrome really becomes private

As promised Google is ready to make websites respect “Incognito” whether they like it or not. The company launched Chrome 76 for Linux, Mac and Windows, closing a gap that sites used to track private browsing.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

If you are tired of sites that require you to pay to read articles, then you are lucky. We have tested and it works with at least some media that previously did not allow visitors to “Incognito” mode.

The sites will not be liked at all. Most of them know that people use Incognito to avoid “Paywall” and by requiring visitors to sign up to read articles, they easily track visitors for free.

Now you either have to find another way to detect Incognito, or accept that these users will go untouched in the future.

From October 15, Chrome plug-ins will be more safer

The company announced today that third-party developers have until October 15 to comply with new user data rules or will risk being excluded from the Chrome Web Store.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

New changes to the Strobe project were introduced at the beginning of the year following an audit of Chrome third-party plugins and apps on how users manage their data. New measures anticipate that developers undertake a more conservative approach to user permissions. Add-ons should require as few data as possible.

Moreover, any app that manages user content should post a privacy policy. In the past, Google requires such a pact only for plugins that have access to sensitive information touching only a small number of applications.

In February, a study found that 85% of Chrome plugins did not have a privacy policy. After October 15, any app that violates new privacy policies is likely to be removed from the Chrome Web Store.

Google has also updated the developer’s manual.

New leak reveal Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL Specs

The company has already promoted phones after some previous leaks around them.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

While Google remains silent on the other details, a new report provides some additional information about the key specifications of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

BGR reports that Pixel 4 screen resolution will be 2280×1080 compared to 2160×1080 Pixel 3. Consequently, the Pixel 4 XL also has a larger screen of 3040×1440 pixels, compared to the 2960×1440 pixels of its predecessor.

BGR also mentions that both Google smartphones will come with 6GB of RAM. This is a very necessary upgrade from the 4G LPDDR4X RAM that comes with Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. It is also claimed that there will be 128GB of internal storage space for these devices.

There is a good chance that Google will provide additional memory options for Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, though none of them is mentioned in this report.

It is unknown at the moment whether higher storage capacity variants may have more RAM, as is the case with phones from some other Android manufacturers. Google will not confirm any of these details officially until October when it is expected to unveil the new devices

Google changes the way the news appears in search results

In the social network Twitter, the company published a video of the redesigned news section in the search engine’s desktop version. In the coming weeks, the new design will become available to all users.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The changes are in line with the efforts of the search giant to respond to publishers’ demands and needs and fight again fake news.

While it is early to give what the new news tab is up to, it is clearly a new step in a different direction. In the GIF published by Google that shows the change, the names of publishers appear on top of the titles.

The new news tab has adopted the format of Google News cards on desktop and mobile. Unlike the similar Google newsgroup you did in the search results, in the new view every news has its own card.

The new look not only expands the name of the publisher, but also organizes the items more clearly.

Google abandons the “notch” trend

We already know how the back of the upcoming Pixel 4 phone and the recently released XL photos of the front tell us that the phones will no longer have the “notch” of the Pixel 3 XL.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Photos were published by trusted OnLeaks payout. In fact, the Pixel 4 XL will be a big frame at the top which features a dual front camera system along with other sensors and a loudspeaker.

But the photos do not notice a physical fingerprint scanner, so Pixel 4 may have a hidden sensor under the big screen can even go with a technology like Face ID.

According to OnLeaks, the Pixel 4 XL will have a size of 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2 mm with a thickness of 9.3mm to accommodate the “camera” of the rear camera.

It is also worth pointing out that Google itself has been publishing back photos of Pixel 4 by revealing the camera system. The absence of a fingerprint scanner at the back confirms that it will most likely be under the screen.

New conceptual designs of Google Pixel 4 XL show how the phone may looks like (VIDEO)

Google did not want to allow the informants to ruin the surprise, so it made the unusual motion of discovering their future phone images a few months before the launch.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

But there’s a lot more that we did not know about the upcoming Google Pixel design. Until now.

New images come from a well-known source. The source is Steve Hemmerstoffer who acts as @onleaks online, who shared these images through Pricebaba. Hemmerstoffer has a good result with such leaks, so there are reasons to believe that these images are accurate.

Google Pixel 4 XL is known to have a square network of rear cameras, which features at least two cameras, maybe three. At the moment we do not know exactly what Google will do with cameras.

Much of this was known before, so the real innovation here is around the front of the phone. What’s surprising is that Google does not seem to be following a chronicle design, but holds a tape at the top.

You can see that there is a dual loudspeaker and camera, along with other sensors on the front – all that were included inside the level at the front of the Pixel 3 XL.

This leak also goes a bit further, saying the screen is expected to be 6.25 inches diagonally, with the phone maturing 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm, making it slightly larger than the previous phone.

We do not expect to see this device until October 2019, but the big push will be on the camera.

Google gets the green light for Android licensing at Huawei

Google gets the green light for Android licensing at Huawei

It has not been a month since the United States imposed a ban on US companies doing business with Huawei citing national security concerns.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Two days ago President Trump relaxed his tone when he said American companies could continue to do business with the telecommunications giant. While it is unknown how long this “permit” extends and if it will be applies to 5G technology, one thing is certain that Google and Huawei will continue to cooperate.

Under US sanction terms, Google decided to revoke Huawei’s Android license, which means that the company’s phones will not use the Play Store or Google’s services. While Trump did not mention specific companies like Google, Qualcomm and Intel, he cited the complex products and technologies created by American companies.

“What we did in the Silicon Valley is tremendous, and no one has been able to compete with it and we have agreed that our companies will continue to sell Huawei-s products,” Trump said.

While American sanctions had not yet come into effect due to 90-day permissions, it had started to affect Huawei’s upcoming products. Now Google is once again ready to license Huawei’s Android.

Chrome 76 Signs the Termination of Adobe Flash and Some Other Great Features

Chrome 76 Signs the Termination of Adobe Flash and Some Other Great Features

Google Chrome’s latest great novelty was the “Dark Mode” mode on Chrome 73 and 74, while version 75 did not bring visible changes. But today with Chrome 76 beta new features are coming for you to enjoy. While Adobe Flash will deliver the latest spirit in 2020 and has been blocked by almost every major browser, Chrome 76 is taking a step further.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Not only individual partitions of Flash are automatically blocked, but now the entire Flash feature in the browser will be blocked. If you have installed the beta version than its enough to type in the chrome://settings/content/flash field, you will notice that the function is active automatically.

But what are some other changes on Chrome 76?

Another change is that websites can no longer understand when you are browsing privately or otherwise known as “Incognito.” For The New York Times publishers it will be almost impossible to trace and learn how much free articles you have read and when to be promoted in paid subscriptions.

Even Dark Mode itself has some improvements. Developers can now program their sites to automatically provide darker versions of websites by simply adding a few more code if they learn that Dark Mode in Chrome is turned on.

The stable version of Chrome 76 will debut on July 30th.
