Apple new iPad Air and iPad Mini models officially launched

Apple new iPad Air and iPad Mini models officially launched

Recently it is speculated that Apple may have some new emerging iPad. These are not the iPads that refreshed last year, but the rumors claimed that these are actually cheap iPads that can launch into the new 10.2-inch and 10.5-inch options.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

It seems rumors have been accurate because Apple has launched a new 10.5-inch iPad and a 7.9-inch refurbished iPad mini, which has also been rumored to be refreshed after several years that Apple has neglected it.

iPad Air of 10.5 inches, there seems to be no new design like the iPad Pro. It will feature a 10.5-inch screen, Touch ID for security, and will use the A12 Bionic processor.

This device will support the Smart Keyboard and Pencil Apple so if you do not need the iPad Pro performance and size, the iPad Air can be a cheaper option with an initial price of $499.

The other device is the iPad Mini, the refreshed model that has been long waited for. The iPad Mini will continue to have the shape and design of the past and will also come with the A12 Bionic processor, so in reality the changes are not particularly drastic.

It will also support the Apple Pencil so if you want something smaller and more portable, the new iPad Mini might be worth your consideration.

There will be prizes ranging from $399 and along with iPad Air will be available for purchase starting today at Apple’s website.

New generation iPad may not come with Face ID

New generation iPad may not come with Face ID

With the new iPad launched last year, Apple finally brought Face ID technology to their iPad. This trend is expected to continue this year, but unfortunately it will not be for iPad or iPad mini followers who have been talking about it.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

So says developer Steve Troughton-Smith who revealed the references made for the new iPad in iOS 12.2 beta.

References made to iOS beta mention a variety of iPads, which include cellular and WiFi models, but no references to Face ID. This means that the iPad and iPad mini will continue to use the Touch ID as the preferred security method.

Indeed, the news does not come as a surprise since both tablets are supposed to be cheap variants.

The budget iPad was launched at the beginning of 2018, where devices from the previous generation were actually presented.

However, the device was more than despicable given the price level and the fact that it comes with the Apple pen that allows students and artists to use the Apple pen without having to pay for the iPad Pro.

The iPad mini is also expected to be a little cool and will not be anything drastic, and as such will probably be positioned as another affordable and smaller iPad in size.
