Apple iPhone 12 has become the subject of constant leaks of confidential information. In this article we have summarized everything we know to date. There’s a lot to like and a lot to be disappointed too. But overall Apple is moving towards an exciting product and perhaps one of the most important in years.

Camera – The main news of the iPhone 12 is the integration of a wide-angle 3D camera. Confirmed by several sources, this camera with the iPhone 12 can create a map of the surrounding environment at a distance of 3 meters. There will be laser technology unlike the current systems used in Face ID of iPhone. A 3D camera would help with portrait mode but the biggest victory is in augmented reality.

Design – Perhaps the one area where the iPhone 12 can disappoint is the look. Radical concepts have already been introduced to the public but the design is said to be identical to the iPhone X, XS and 11 Pro. There is still time for change but Apple is expected to make big changes this year as well.

Display – While it may look the same as the last three generations, the iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will have screens as follows:

iPhone 12: 6.1-inch
iPhone 12 Pro: 5.4-inch
iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G: 6.7-inch Screen

Innovation for this year will be ProMotion 120Hz display while there is speculation that rivals are doing the same as Samsung, Huawei, LG, OnePlus.

Biometrics – Face ID won’t change much with the iPhone 12 except for the slight increase in performance. But intriguing is the return of Touch ID which will be integrated under the screen. Its true value will be in combining face recognition technology with extreme security.

Performance – Very little is known about the phone in this regard except that the new chip will be faster and more efficient as with previous generations.

Connectivity – There is a lot of speculation in this regard. According to the most reliable reports, the Lightining port will be replaced by USB-C. Safer is the debut of the 5G across the line of the iPhone 12. This technology will be available in the high-speed mmWave bandwidth and sub-6Ghz high-penetration.

Price – Phone cost figures remain a mystery but according to analyst Ming Chi-Kuo there will be no significant price increase due to 5G. The debut is also expected to remain unchanged with the new iPhone expected in September 2020.

Intel: Core i9-10900K is up to 30% faster than the i9-9900K

According to Intel, the company’s next desktop processor, Core i9-10900K, is up to 30 percent faster than the Core i9-9900K model. The company has created a performance slide that appeared online, TechPowerUp reports.

Core i9-10900K processor is based on the 14nm “Comet Lake-S” architecture and is designed for the new LGA1200 platform (Intel 400-series motherboards). The processor has 10 cores and 20 threades, with a TDP of 125W. Thanks to additional CPU cores, the Core i9-10900K offers up to 25% processing overhead compared to the i9-9900K.

The slide shows some other improvements the chipset will implement, such as a 26% better result on the Cinebench R15, and 10% more on the SYSMark 2014 SE. In non-core tests, Intel relied on increased tact speed and an improved boosting algorithm to deliver improved results.

Intel is introducing new working tactile technology called Thermal Velocity Boost, which can increase the tactical speed of the Core i9-10900K processor up to 5.30GHz.

Samsung revealed Galaxy Book Flex α, with Intel 10th-gen processors and QLED display

Last year, Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex, which came in both 13- and 15-inch variants. Yesterday, before the launch of CES, the company has announced a new, apparently lower-cost member of this line, the Galaxy Book Flex α.

This new device shares much with the original, with a convertible form factor, a 13.3-inch Full HD QLED touchscreen display, and 10th-generation Intel processors. The screen also supports an active style, as in the previous model, but does not come with an S Pen.

Galaxy Book Flex Alpha weighs 1.19 pounds, while Galaxy Book Flex weighs 1.1 kg. The Book Ion has a starting weight of 0.9 kg (1.1 kg for the 15-inch model). The thickness of the Alpha model is 13.9 mm, while the weight of the other two laptops is 12.9 mm.

To make it at a lower sales price, Samsung also had to make some compromises on the Flex Alpha model. Available is a smaller 54Whr battery (compared to 69.7 Whr on the other two laptops). The graphics processor is also limited and uses the Intel UHD option. Also, the maximum storage space is up to 512 GB SSD, while the RAM options go up to 12 GB.

Like the Flex and Ion models, the Flex Alpha has a fingerprint sensor on the keyboard and is characterized by a significant number of ports. Two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C slot, an HDMI connector and a microSD card reader are offered.

Galaxy Book Flex Alpha has 10th-generation Intel Core processors, WiFi 6 support and stereo speakers. Samsung has not given a specific launch date, and the company says the laptop is expected in the first half of 2020, starting at $829.99.

Samsung may introduce a real “zero frame” TV at CES 2020

Samsung may soon fulfill its promise, which it once made, to introduce frameless TVs. Sources suggest that the South Korean company plans to introduce ‘zero bezel’ TV during the CES 2020 event earlier this month, with mass production of the TV set to begin in February.

More concrete details are not available, but it is suggested that the design will conceive the screen and the main housing of the adjacent TV to eliminate the usual frames, and this will apply to models 56 inches or higher.

Samsung has so far confirmed nothing about the project, so rumors have to be taken with caution. However, it is interesting to note that Samsung in early 2019 had protected the trademark for the brand “Zero Bezel”, which may indicate the company’s plans.

The assumption is that such a TV, if it appears on the market, will be very expensive. Samsung is developing the chips needed to support 8K, while combining exotic design with a large panel would mean that even “ordinary” 8K TVs would be priced high.

OnePlus 7T is a smartphone worth every penny spent on it. The 6.55-inch OLED display has a refresh rate of 90Hz just like the big brother OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus phones are considered kings of performance and with the OnePlus 7T you get a Snapdragon 855+ flagship processor, 8GB of RAM and at least 128GB of UFS 3.0 memory highlighting the latter. The pure OxygenOS Android based system is fast and stable.

OnePlus guarantees two years of software updates. The triple camera system is a big step forward compared to the OnePlus 7.

Noteworthy: Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 4XL, iPhone 11

Galaxy Note 10 is the dream of the super-lover of Samsung phones. It has the largest screen on a 6.8-inch diagonal Samsung phone, new UFS 3.0 memory, reasonable battery life, and many more. The stylus pencil can be used as a wand for various gestures. At the rear is the Galaxy S10’s triple camera system and the phone is even available in a 5G variant. Google Pixel 4XL is a phone that has received mixed reviews, both good and bad. On the one hand you have a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz frequency, excellent camera, radar gesture system, artificial intelligence and super fast Face Unlock 3D locking technology. But on the other hand it lacks a fingerprint scanner which means that until the apps are adapted to the new technology you have to set the PIN while battery life is beyond expectations.

iPhone 11 has everything the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max promise except for a wide-angle camera and screen that is not OLED for LCD. It is for these reasons that the phone is significantly cheaper than the first two. The body is made of aluminum and glass unlike the steel used in the two expensive iPhones, losing the luxury feel. However it cannot be considered cheap because there are other companies whose flagships cost as much as Apple’s cheapest phone. iPhone 11 saves you some money, but if you’re looking for the best iPhone experience, you should definitely look for a Pro model.

OPPO Reno3, Reno3 Pro officially launched: Featuring 5G and Quad Rear Cameras

Oppo revealed Reno 2 just two months ago but that hasn’t stopped the company from launching its third phone series before the 2019 closing. The company has unveiled Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro, both of which come with 5G but have dual-mode chips, four antennas and software that together should ensure the battery life of an LTE phone.

The algorithms will make sure you don’t use simple 5G to check an email even though there may be such coverage. This is what makes dual-mode chip technology possible.

You can also expect state-of-the-art display technology with 800-bit brightness, HDR10 and 180Hz refresh rate. The phones come with two Dolby Atmos speakers. The 4,025 mAh battery is charged at 50% for 20 minutes and 70% for half an hour.

Beyond these details, the others are not so suprising. For example, Reno 3 has MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000 processor, 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 32-megapixel selfie camera, 64-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel wide-angle.

New Intel Tiger Lake processors with GPU Xe announced

Intel is still working on developing the Xe GPU, and the same can be said for the upcoming Tiger Lake processors. More details have now emerged about the Xe DG1 graphics processor, reports TweakTown.

Recent reports suggest that the new Intel Xe DG1 GPU has been noted in the ECC listing, indicating that the DG1 will be able to use 96 EU (Execution Units) and up to 768 shaders. This means that the GPU would fall to the bottom of the graphics card, almost in line with the current integrated graphics up to the GeForce GT 1030.

Intel Tiger Lake is expected to reach 96 EU based on Gen12 X graphics (compared to 72 EU on Skylake, 48 EU on Broadwell and 40 EU on Haswell models. More information on Xe and DG1 is expected at the upcoming CES 2020 fair in Las Vegas.

Adata expands its product offering with monitors, laptops and PC gaming

Adata currently sells memory solutions such as SSD and DRAM. However, the company is planning to change tactics starting in 2020. For starters, Adata wants to start selling more products that will be part of the Xtreme Performance Gear (XPG) line, reports TechPowerUp.

XPG will thus offer new products such as monitors, laptops, gaming computers and PC cases. Adata is planning to cover the new market segment and position itself as a strong brand for PC gaming products. More details about the new product line will be revealed during the CES 2020 fair, but there is information on what will make it.

For starters, the XPG line-up will offer the Xenia 15 laptop, a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS gaming laptop and a ninth-generation Intel Core i9 processor. Also offered is PC gaming called the XPG Gaia -a mini PC with a PCIe graphics card slot.

Also is expected the new monitor, named Photon, which features a 27-inch panel with PixelDisplay Vivid Color Eye-Safe Display technology, which blocks blue light. When it comes to cases, the XPG Volta model is a cylindrical case, made from premium materials such as metal and tempered glass. Finally, the XPG will come with two concepts of RGB DDR4 memory module, with speeds up to 4800MHz and capacity up to 32 GB for DIMM.

Now, the design remains the same, but these new concepts make the camera look more appealing. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 is starting to look great.

Recent introductions from @OnLeaks and CashKaro look amazing.

Also, a report was published by the Israeli website Girafa that says the S11 series will launch on February 11 in San Francisco, California.

We can also see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 during this event, and now we only have to wait and see if we are getting the Galaxy S11 or a new Samsung Galaxy S20.

Western Digital reveals the world’s first 20TB SMR HDD

Western Digital for the first time in September announced the new high capacity hard drives, which include the 20TB Ultrastar DC HC650 SMR and 18TB Ultrastar DC HC550 CMR.

The mentioned HDDs use the company’s first implementation of magnetic writing on the nine-disk platform, to enable more efficient data transfer to data center environments.

High-capacity hard drives have become the primary way of efficiently storing data across a diverse spectrum of applications. The new Western Digital 18TB and 20 TB Ultrastar HDDs allow users to implement up to 22% less slots and reduce TCOs by up to 11%. This also means reducing power consumption, reducing cooling costs, and reducing data center infrastructure compared to today’s 14TB CMR HDDs.
