The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 uses the same 15.6 “screen as the ThinkPad X1 Extreme but is built as a workstation and includes options such as NVIDIA Quadro GPU, multiple SSDs, Xeon processors and OLED display.
The most expensive version of this laptop has a screen cover that shows carbon fiber. For graphics or AI processing, the NVIDIA Quadro T2000 is the fastest option available for this laptop. The new ThinkPad T1 can be purchased with an Intel Core Xeon processor (or a Core i9) 8-core, along with 64GB of RAM (2x SO-DIMM module).
For professionals who use special applications, Quadro stores have extra features and spend far more tests and certifications than other laptops. From the standpoint of storage, the ThinkPad T1 seems to have up to two 2TB SSD modules (4TB total) that can also be configured on RAID-0 or RAID-1 if you want performance or additional data security.
The 80Wh large battery will help keep your laptop and running as long as possible. ThinkPad P1 (gen2) should start selling this month for $1,949 and beyond.
