Earlier this year, Samsung launched their Galaxy S10 phone where one of the models came with 5G support. This was the first Samsung 5G phone and we doubt it will be the last of them.
At the same time, we expect the availability of 5G phones to not be so common.
This is because technology is not widely available for the lowest processors, so now 5G looks like a franchise for the devices.
So much so we can be surprised to understand that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 may also have support for 5G.
Now this seems to be a rumor as there is still no official announcement but comes from a trusted source: Verizon.
In fact, the information was revealed by Verizon’s CEO, Hans Vestberg during the company’s call for Q1 2019 in which he was quoted as saying, “Note and Galaxy coming this year will have 5G.”
Thus, his discovery does not come as a surprise.
In fact, what would actually be more surprising is if the Galaxy Note 10 will not have 5G.
As The Verge notes, Note 10 may be a more tempting purchase compared to the Galaxy S10 5G.
This is because the Note 10 will launch at a much later period of the year, giving technology and 5G time to mature a bit more.
