Galaxy Tab S6

Galaxy Tab S6 is Samsung’s next attempt to challenge the iPad

The newest competitor of Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with a stylus pen included in the package and an optional keyboard.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The tablet goes on sale September 6 for $649 for a model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory. The version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory will cost $720.

Samsung says it will sell an LTE model by the end of the year. Currently the Tab S6 stands at the top of the line of Samsung tablets including the low-end Galaxy Tab A and high-end Tab S5e.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_5″]

It has a 16:10 10.5-inch OLED display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, much like the Tab S4 but Samsung has reduced the screen frame. The latter features a fingerprint scanner.

Samsung has also reduced the tablet’s thickness to just 5.7mm and weighs 420 grams. On its sides are four speakers, two in each. The Tab S6 has a Snapdragon 855 processor and a 7,040 mAh battery for 15 hours of usage.

At the back of the tablet is a dual camera with a standard lens and a 123-degree wide-angle lens. Also on the back is a magnetic boost which makes the stylus pencil stick to the tablet.

This pencil has features similar to that of the Galaxy Note 9 such as activating the button camera or sliding a PowerPoint document. Samsung has redesigned the keyboard to include a smaller trackpad. It costs $179. In terms of software the Tab S6 comes with Android 9 Pie and version 1.5 of the Samsung One UI interface.

In size and functionality, the Tab S6 is more of an iPad Air competitor than the expensive iPad Pro model. But Air costs much less but it has a more developed operating system and application ecosystem than the Tab S6.

As for the Samsung solution, it’s hard to hear anyone today choosing a Samsung tablet as opposed to an Apple option. Maybe with Microsoft Surface there might have a chance.

Galaxy Note 10 may have a 'wiser' camera than the Galaxy S10

Galaxy Note 10 may have a ‘wiser’ camera than the Galaxy S10

Samsung phones typically create impressions on the front of the camera and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series is likely to be no exception, with the latest rumors pointing to ‘Smart ISO‘ and ‘AI-ISO‘.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

What exactly is ‘Smart ISO’ or ‘AI-ISO’?

For now we can only speculate, but the names sound like ISO will be enabled by AI artificial intelligence, allowing it to automatically adapt to what you are running, and potentially meaning it can learn your preferences with over time, so the phone is better able to automatically select an ISO with which you are satisfied.

ISO is the sensitivity measurement of the camera sensor, which is useful for ‘viewing’ light or extra colors. This can especially help to improve low light pictures, where a higher ISO can usually be useful.

LetsGoDigital also speculates that the concentration in ISO may mean that the Galaxy Note 10 will offer a larger amount of ISO than 50-800 offered by the Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

This is a credible theory, given that rival phones such as Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Huawei P30 have a much larger range, but now it’s just speculation. We will know more soon, as we expect Samsung’s future lines of equipment to be launched on August 7.

New leak reveal full specifications of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+

New leak reveal full specifications of Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+

So far we have seen many details about the battery’s capacity and future S-PEN features of Note10, but the new leak reveal all the specifications for Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

These smartphones will be launched in just over two weeks, August 7, at a special event in New York City.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will feature a 6.3-inch screen with 1080p resolution which, due to the high ratio, will be FHD+. The panel will be an Infinity O unit with a hole that accommodates the front camera. Note 10 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9825 processor, depending on the region, and will be supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The triple camera at the back consists of a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP system and the battery is estimated to be 3.500mAh, with 25W fast charging capability.

By contrast, the Galaxy Note10+ will feature a 6.8-inch screen with 1440p resolution, which corresponds to QHD+. Everything is identical to the regular unit, in addition to 12GB of RAM, an additional ToF sensor for the camera system and the largest 4500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Why Note 10 should not be the next Samsung flagship you want to buy

Why Note 10 should not be the next Samsung flagship you want to buy

Moreover Samsung does things even worse. In a press release, the company announced the launch of mass-production LPDDR5 for smartphones, which is 30% faster and 30% more efficient than any other memory in the market.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

This memory goes on sale a month before the Galaxy Note 10 arrives, but what’s the problem with this? It will not be inside Note 10.

WinFuture insider reveals that the new RAM memory is not compatible with Snapdragon 855 and 855+ processors and is designed for the Snapdragon 865 that will come with the Galaxy S11.

The smartphone in question is being advertised as a new beginning for Samsung. And this is the problem with Note 10 that debuts in August as it arrives three months before Qualcomm launches a new generation of processors. So the phone will always spend most of his life behind the Galaxy S line, which debuts in February/March.

It’s the same problem for Google Pixel 4. To help with the smartphone, Samsung will equip the Galaxy Note 10 with a charging technology that is faster than other smartphones accompanied by a beautiful design.

Note 10 will be the first Galaxy flagship without a 3.5mm headset. Of course, what keeps the faithful Note fans is definitely the iconic S-Pen pencil.

Samsung introduces new RAM memory for 5G and artificial intelligence

Samsung introduces new RAM memory for 5G and artificial intelligence

Only a few months have passed since Samsung introduced the highest capacity DRAM memory, a 12GB LPDDR4X packet, however, already has a much faster model.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

The Korean giant has launched mass production of what it calls the first 12GB LPDDR5 RAM memory for phones. Samsung introduced the LPDDR5 technology for the first time last year with the hopes of offering the phones a fast, energy-efficient RAM that can boost the “machine learning” and AI applications.

Like the LPDDR4X RAM, the component is built on the second-generation 10-nanometer chip. It’s designed to be 1.3 times faster.

With new memory, the phones can transfer 44GB of memory in just 1 second. Moreover, the new component uses 30% less energy. Samsung says these features will give the next-generation flagship power to use the 5G and IA technology at maximum while increasing battery life.

Samsung’s memory chip business has suffered in recent months due to falling prices and sales. The conglomerate has predicted to develop a 16GB LPDDR5 chip next year for smartphones with more advanced features.

Galaxy Note 10 will be the fastest phone that Samsung has ever produced

Galaxy Note 10 will be the fastest phone that Samsung has ever produced

We are expecting to see a lot of impressive technology on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, but so far it did not include a completely new processor.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Samsung usually uses the same processor at the main entries of both Galaxy Note and Galaxy S brands. However, it may seem to change this year, according to a leaked online result.

According to the Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note Plus will be powered by the Exynos 9825, an Exynos 9820 update. Attached to 8GB of RAM, the new processor seems to be a real powerhouse.

Ice Universe has posted on Twitter a landmark that allegedly reveals the level of performance we can expect from the Galaxy Note 10.

If the leak is correct, we can expect Geekbench results of 4,495 and 10,223 in single and multi-core tests which are higher than any other Android phone.

The iPhone XS and XS XS Max, which are powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic processor, reach 4,798 and 11,259 in the same single and multi-core tests at Geekbench 4.

Evaluation results are designed to help users compare performance across devices across different platforms. So regardless of the processor’s brand and operating system, the higher the Geekbench’s score, the better.

Samsung patent reveals the potential Galaxy S11 with expandable screen (PHOTO)

Samsung Electronics introduced a new patent at the end of 2018 for an “Expanded Galaxy Phone” at KIPO (Korean Intelligence Property Office), and after many months, it was finally released on June 24, 2019.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

In this patent application, there are fourteen sketches where a Galaxy-like phone can be seen, but unlike its predecessors, this screen can extend the width of the phone, after which the display surface increases by about 50%.

In the front there is a camera system with a round design that is positioned right in the middle and will not obstruct the expanded screen because it can be moved to the right. On the back you will find a camera system in the top right corner.

Unfortunately, there is still no detail on the type of processor or memory you can expect but we are sure that Samsung will most likely choose premium hardware if the device goes into production.

Recent reports indicate that one or two Galaxy A50 phones are awaiting us, who have been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance Agency.

Devices, with the numbers SM-A561F and SM-A562N, may be the same phones in different versions and may have completely different products. We already know that Galaxy A10e and Galaxy A20e come as specific versions for specific markets, and Samsung can also announce the Galaxy A50e model.

Interestingly, these model numbers have not been noticed before, which means that it does not concern the upcoming Galaxy A90 phones or the Galaxy A60.

It also appeared that the SM-A507FN phone, which is different from the versions from the Wi-Fi Alliance list, so it is possible to expect more phones from the Galaxy A series.

Another Samsung premium phone is coming: Galaxy A90 5G, the specifications are unveiled

We’ve heard about the Samsung Galaxy A90 since the beginning of March.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Reports and informants suggest a high quality smartphone, and recent reports suggested it would include the Snapdragon 855 processor, along with the 5G capabilities via the X50 modem.

The triple camera is also rumored to be on board for all your image needs. A recent Geekbench result confirms the presence of SoC SD855, aided by 6GB of RAM. The device brings a massive 4.500mAh battery, GalaxyClub declares.

The estimated model is identified as the SM-A908N, and from the previous reports it states that the SM-A908 series will be capable of 5G.

What’s important is that the Galaxy A90 5G, with a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, threefold camera (48MP + 8MP + 5MP) and 4,500mAh can easily be presented under the category of premium phones.

The only thing left is to see how expensive this 5G phone is.

Samsung to skip Galaxy Tab S5, will launch Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung to skip Galaxy Tab S5, will launch Galaxy Tab S6

Multiple sources report that Samsung is likely to skip the Galaxy Tab S5 and instead launch the Galaxy Tab S6 as a side-by side tablet product.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Before the MWC 2019, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Tab S5e, but it looks like the non “e” version will be the Galaxy Tab S6.

The tablet is said to feature a 10.5-inch display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It also will offers 128GB and 256GB storage options and features a magnetic back-up charger, and the S-Pen stylus can have similar Bluetooth capabilities to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

The images you see above suggest dual rear camera configurations, WiFi and LTE models, and color options Gray, Blue and Brown.

Regarding an official launch, this may occur in the ‘Unpacked’ event of Note 10 on August 7, or later on IFA 2019.
