Microsoft has announced today the availability of there new products under Surface lineup- Surface Headphones, Surface Pro 6, Surface Studio 2, and Surface Laptop 2, along with the new Windows 10 update(October 2018) & Office 365 which offer more performance and productivity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6
Loaded with the latest 8th generation Intel Quad Core processor(i5/i7), the Surface Pro 6 is 67% faster than the 5th generation Surface Pro and has been redesigned to pack in more power but still keep the portability, versatility, and all-day battery. The Surface Pro 6 features the 12.3” (2736 x 1824) PixelSense Touch Display. It also features password-free Windows Hello sign-in and Windows Timeline. It comes in two memory options- 8GB or 16GB RAM. On the storage front, they come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD options. Port options on the Pro 6 include 1 x full-size USB 3.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Mini DisplayPort, 1 x Surface Connect port, Surface Type Cover port, MicroSDXC card reader. It is running on Windows 10 Home OS.
Further, there is a 5MP front-facing camera with 1080p and an 8MP rear-facing autofocus camera with 1080p full HD video
Dual Microphones. It houses a 1.6W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium. The Surface Pro 6 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1. It starts at $899 and comes in Black and Platinum color options.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 2
The Surface Laptop 2 is 85% faster than the original Surface Laptop and is powered by the new Quad Core 8th generation Intel processor(i5/i7). It offers a premium design and comes with 13.5-inch(2256 x 1504) PixelSense touch display, and best in class keyboard and trackpad. Microsoft promises a battery life of up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. It comes in two memory options- 8GB or 16GB RAM. On the storage front, they come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD options. Port options on the Pro 6 include 1 x full-size USB 3.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Mini DisplayPort, 1 x Surface Connect port. It is running on Windows 10 Home OS.
It starts at $999 and comes in Black, Burgundy, Blue, and Platinum color options.
Microsoft Surface Studio 2
The machine built for creators who need vibrancy, high graphics performance, and fast processing. People who use Studio need high-end performance, especially graphics performance. And Surface Studio 2 delivers with next-generation Pascal graphics and 50% faster GPU.
It comes with a 28-inch(4500 x 3000) PixelSense 10 point multi-touch display, it supports up to two 4K UHD (@30Hz) or single 4K UHD (@60Hz external display. It is powered by Intel Core 7th Generation i7-7820HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 GPU. The Studio 2 comes with two storage options- 16GB or 32GB (DDR4) and 1TB/2TB SSD options. On the connectivity front, it features 4 x USB 3.0, Full-size SD card reader (SDXC) compatible, 1 x USB-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 1 Gigabit Ethernet port. it is running on Windows 10 Pro OS.
Other features include passwordless Windows Hello face authentication camera (front-facing), 5MP front-facing camera with 1080p HD video support, Dual microphones and Stereo 2.1 speakers with Dolby Audio Premium. It is also bundled with Surface Pen in the box. It is now available for pre-order in the US starting at $3,499.
Surface Headphones
The Surface Headphones slip comfortably over your ears to surround you with 13 levels of ambient noise control, it features a 2 beam-forming microphones on each ear cup, 8 microphones in total. There are new and intuitive on-ear dials to adjust volume and noise cancellation levels with new,. While Surface Headphones are optimized for Surface devices, they will pair with any Bluetooth enabled device so when you’re switching between PC and phone, you can stay connected to your music, meeting or call seamlessly. Finally, this new headphone is Cortana is ready to assist for whatever you need on-the-go.
