Lamborghini Urus close to 1,000 HP, from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds

The most powerful tuned Urus we’ve seen so far

When it comes to superfast SUVs, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and Lamborghini Urus are definitely worth mentioning.

The Trackhawk has a 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine that produces 707 horsepower (527 kilowatts) while the Urus has a smaller, 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 650 horsepower (485 kW).

Trackhawk in a race with Urus has managed to beat it, but it has not competed with the model modified by HGP. The German car modification company, HGP has updated the Urus, turning it into a super-fast SUV.

This modified Urus has 947 horsepower while the speed from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour is reached in just 2.9 seconds and the maximum at 340 km/h.

HGP did not have to replace Urus turbocharger to achieve these figures. This company has given Urus the chip developed by them, a new ventilation system, gas discharge pipes from Akropovic and reprogrammed marches and with these modifications they have reached close to 1 thousand horsepower.

It is known that Urus is something special, a super sports SUV, but now it can compete with the supercars of Ferrari, Porsches, and Lamborghini Aventador.

Volkswagen is continuing to work on expanding its electric cars range

So far, the final version of the Volkswagen ID.4 has not been released, but reporters dealing with new cars have caught it while testing a sporty version of this model.

Based on previous reports, it was said that Volkswagen is working on a high-performance sports version, called the GTX, while it is believed that this car has just been caught for the first time.

Although Volkswagen has camouflaged itself with a fake grill and fake gas pipes, some changes are still noticeable.

Compared to the ID.4 we’ve seen so far, the peak is higher, which means there’s more interior space, while the expansion of the rear has increased the luggage space. The arm located in the visible part, has given this car a much more sporty look, while in general it looks more like the GTI version, while the X has been added to show that it can be driven with all wheels.

The New York Auto Show, which was due to take place this month, was the event where Volkswagen would present this car with 201 horsepower, while now it is not known when it will be able to present it.

2021 Toyota Yaris Cross Revealed

With a similar design as the Yaris hatchback, even the engines that will be offered with the Yaris Cross will be the same

Toyota has unveiled a new small SUV that rivals the Nissan Juke, Renault Capture, Peugeot 2008 and Skoda Kamic. The SUV will be manufactured at Toyota’s plant in Valencia, France, and in high quality, about 150,000 copies a year, according to Toyota’s plans.

Unveiled in a live presentation video, the Yaris Cross comes with a design inspired by Toyota’s new SUVs, mostly the RAV4. With a similar design to the Yaris hatchback even the engines that will be offered with the Yaris Crossin will be the same.

Don’t judge it by its name. If the name Yaris indicates a city car, the Yaris Cross is not simply a Yaris a few inches taller, but is a completely separate model in the best sense of the word. It is based on the TNGA platform – Toyota New Global Architecture and will be produced in France, thus becoming a European passport.

The design of the Toyota Yaris Cross is probably the most accomplished element so much that we can say that this model could better be called Rav4 Junior or something similar because it actually looks more like a Rav4. The front view is important and modern, the profile carefully processed and with quality details where the muscular fenders covered with protective plastic stand out and details that enrich it like the chrome logo “Hybrid” below the mirror and the name Yaris Cross realized in the body paint over the plastic protection of the wire under the back door.

The cut profile in the back area creates a dynamic shape giving it character while the back of Yaris Cross is shaped and embossed in the area of lights that join a Led bar on which the Toyota logo is placed. Details like ceilings with different colors from the body enrich it even more by offering personalization options and making it even more trendy. In other words the personality of this car will be one of the strengths.

Toyota Yaris Cross is 418 cm long, 177 cm wide and 156 cm high. This means that the space on board for its category is good considering another 256 cm of space between the axes.

The kruskot is organized on two levels with the center in the upper area the screen with touch of infotainment and below the mini screen of the air conditioner with physical commands (with buttons). The realization seems qualitative and this is shown by the fact that the air conditioner has two areas.

Japanese designers have also worked carefully in terms of security. This is evident from the inclusion of some elements such as “head-up display” , usually devices that are offered in more expensive models, emergency braking, etc. but we noticed a novelty or more precisely an innovation.

Toyota has produced an airbag that is positioned between the first two seats, ensuring that the driver and first passenger do not collide with each other in the event of an accident. Active Cruise control with Stop & Go, Lane Assistant, emergency maneuver assistant, Led headlights, etc. are elements that further enrich the technological package.

The Toyota Yaris Cross will also offer 4×4 (optional) traction which many of its rivals do not offer. Motorizations will be for all tastes, with diesel, petrol and hybrids. Its hybrid system uses a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine which, in addition to producing horsepower, also charges batteries for the electric motor. In the Yaris, the electric motor has new lithium batteries, which are lighter than those of the previous model from nickel.

So far Yaris Cross has all the papers in order, but we will have to wait a bit as the delivery to the concessionaires is scheduled for the middle of next year.

Mercedes-AMG G63 “Black Bison” by Wald International

The company that deals with car modification, Wald International, has recently dealt with the Mercedes AMG G63 model. It unveiled recently the modification package called “Black Bison“, which turns this G63 into a “Black Bizon”.

Among other things, this Japanese company for this black G63 has chosen the package for aerodynamics which includes new protectors, extended side protectors, new carbon fiber carbon hood, etc..

It has also chosen LED lights on the roof, modified shock absorbers, a new 22-inch wheel set, and an interior modification package.

As for the engine, Wald International has not revealed whether it will strengthen the engine of this G63, 4.0-liter V8 which has a capacity of 585 horsepower.

Range Rover Evoque plug-in hybrid unveiled

Land Rover Discovery Sport will have the same treatment

Two years ago, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport became the first SUVs from Land Rover to be converted into hybrids that are powered by electricity, while the same sales have now been taken by the best-selling Range Rover Evoque cars, while Discovery Sport will take over soon.

The architecture of both of these cars is based on the Premium Transverse, which supports the electric system, while not missing out on driving opportunities on all terrains.

Inside will be the 1.5-liter engine that produces 197 horsepower, along with another electric motor with a capacity of 107 horsepower, enabling both to produce 304 horsepower together. At the bottom of the car is a 15kWh lithium-ion battery system.

This enables Evoque to reach speeds from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.1 seconds, while Discovery Sport needs one second more. Both can travel at 135 kilometers per hour when operating with the electrical system.

The autonomy of the Range Rover Evoque when moving in the electric system is 65 kilometers, while the Dicovery Sport will have autonomy up to 61 kilometers.

If we take a look at the brands of British manufacturers, at first glance it seems that the English have luxury in the blood, along with a first-class sports “dell”.

It is logically expected that each of them will consider expanding the offer to increase the clientele that is becoming more difficult (even more confusing) every day due to an endless multitude of models on the market.

Aston Martin, in this regard, has probably been very “reserved” as it has historically produced sports cars with a clear positioning, but it seems that (like everyone) has not resisted expansion in the SUV segment. We’ve talked before about the DBX model (then just a prototype) that is finally getting ready for potential customers. Already Bentley Bentayga or Lamborghini Urus customers seems to have one more opportunity.

The Aston Martin DBX can be classified in the large SUV category. 5.04 m long, 2m wide and 1.68m high, it manages to maintain a sporty look thanks to the care of the designers. Integral traction is electronically controlled based on road conditions while depreciation enables +/- 5cm depending on the guide and road we are traversing.

The engine, one of the strengths of any Aston Martin is the 4,000-cubic-foot V8-powered AMG-derived unit with 550 horsepower in 6,500 rpm mode while torque is 800 Nm in 2,200 rpm mode. Although this English “beast” weighs 2,245 kg, the performance is from a sports car. For acceleration from 0-100km/h, takes only 4.5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 290 km/h.

As always, luxury and sports car manufacturers “forget” to talk about consumption. Or maybe you are thinking of committing the sin of a gas plant?

Cupra Ateca Limited Edition under ABT “Treatment”, Boosted to 350 HP

Cupra Ateca Limited Edition is the Spanish manufacturer’s special series, Seat, limited to only 1,999 units. Now, a model from this series has passed through the hands of renowned German company ABT Sportsline, which is involved in car modification.

The serial model has a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine in combination with the 7-speed automatic transmission, while the ABT version is boosted to 350 horsepower.

Also, the ABT Cupra Ateca Limited Edition now achieves speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 5 seconds and top speeds of up to 255 km/h.

In addition, the ABT version also comes with new shock absorbers (the model is now 25-30mm lower), as well as 20-inch wheels and 235/35 R20 tires.

The new creation of this company is the model we see in the photo, called the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP. In fact, it is the Mercedes-AMG G63 turned into a Pick-up of your dreams.

The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP is 69 centimeters taller than the standard model, and has the longest wheelbase by 50 cm. It is also 49 cm higher. Also, this new Pick-up comes with a 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 engine with an output of 800 hp, and can reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.8 seconds while limiting its maximum range at 210 km/h.

The engine boost of this Mercedes-AMG G63 is not the only thing Brabus has done. The package includes, among others, the new exhaust system, modified shock absorbers, extended side protectors, thresholds, air holes, LED lights, roof luggage with extra lights, “Brabus” wheels, such as and leather interior and some carbon fiber parts.

The price of this new Pick-up is €389,831, while the Special Edition First Edition costs €575,630.

The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP in the picture is the model to be presented at the fair and is priced at 666,836 euros, which includes the “Wingcopter” drone which can reach speeds of up to 240 km/h and can fly up to 120 km.

2020 VW Touareg R SUV revealed with plug-in power and 456hp

Volkswagen has unveiled the new semi-hybrid and more powerful model of its SUV, the Touareg R

This plug-in hybrid model has 456 horsepower and emits CO2 of about 44g/km according to Volkswagen.

The Volkswagen Touareg R has a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 335 hp and another electric with 134 hp.

These engines enable the Touareg R to reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, according to Volkswagen, in about 5 seconds.

This sporty model has the same technology as the Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus.
