It’s a busy week for Apple. The iPhone maker has already launched an upgraded iPad Mini, the new iPad Air, and next-generation AirPods with wireless charging packages.
The company also has introduced new internal parts to improve performance on 21-inch and 27-inch desktop computers.
The latest advancement brings 6- and 8-core processors to Retina iMac for the first time.
According to Apple, updated iMacs offer up to 60% faster CPU performance than their predecessors.
There’s also graphics performance up to 80% of the new Radeon Pro Vega GPUs fitted within the new iMac.
New iMac models carry the same Retina 4K display with support for the wide range of P3 colors, up to 1TB, and multiple ports.
As can be expected, the new iMac line works with the latest version of Apple’s desktop operating system, macOS 10.14 Mojave, which introduced FaceTime group calls and a re-designed Mac application.
