TCL foldable phone Concept

TCL foldable phones concepts are different of what we have seen till now!

The company introduced two folding phone concepts.

TCL Communication, one of the fastest growing TV brands in the world, is already following the smartphone market and is not afraid to try new experiences. The company introduced two foldable phones concepts. The first folds three times and is one of the first concepts of two-axis smartphones. The 6.55-inch smartphone screen turns into a 10-inch tablet.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The second concept is even more interesting. It’s not actually a folding screen phone but a roll-up screen. It looks like a normal 6.75-inch but when open the smartphone goes up to 7.8-inches, but as much as an iPad Mini without having to fold. This design keeps the phones super thin.

Due to the flexible material and the way this smartphone is built, the screen can be easily retracted and made even larger.

The device also had to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but was canceled as a result of the coronavirus. The presentation was nonetheless exciting because TCL confirmed that the device has no defects in screen folding, alluding to the smartphone of other firms having problems with their screens.

Since TCL produces the screens themselves, the company has experimented with several formats and said it has more than 30 concepts that are brought to its plants. However, they are concepts and will probably never make their debut.

When the cell phone screen is folded, the screen simply rotates along the left side of the device to the inside of it. According to TCL, the work series model has built-in motors, which pull the screen and push it together.

Over time, TCL will also benefit from falling prices for these smartphones because very few users are willing to buy a $1,300 to $2,700 smartphone.

Companies Using Data Analytics Tools

Reducing the Risk of Fraud in Companies Using Data Analytics Tools

With the onset of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technologies have become more advanced, bringing about the massive potential of how information and data can be used in the coming years. Big data and machine learning, in particular, have made it possible to come up with stronger verification and security systems that can help prevent fraud and verify identities.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

As technologies continue to advance, so does the threat of fraud, trojans, hackers, and others. The financial industry has thus made use of more data analytic methods and modern technologies to detect and prevent the occurrence of fraud. If you are working in the industry or other similar industries that require tight security measures, you may find lots of merit in the system solutions offered by many data companies today.

There are several potential solutions to the common security problems you may face, which include Data Zoo verification products and blockchain verification solutions. With data analytics, the possibilities are almost endless, as there are so many things you can do with the information that you have.

Benefits of Fraud Analytics

One of the most potent data tools today includes fraud analytics, which involves installing systems that can search for hidden threats or find patterns of deviation that will help you detect fraudulent activity at an early stage. Aside from the detection and subsequent prevention of fraud, however, fraud analytics also has other benefits for your company.

1. Integrating Data

Companies in the financial industry or other industries that have a high risk of fraudulent activity deal with bulks and bulks of information. With fraud analytics, you can combine all your data and records across departments and teams and integrate them into models. Consolidation will help in the implementation of your systems since you will easily be able to verify new data you receive against your database of information.

2. Mining Unstructured Data

Most of the time, you may have tons of data, but not all will be useful for your operations. With advanced technologies, however, unstructured data is no longer seen as useless as tools like fraud analytics allow you to mine them to get structured data. The most fraudulent activity also typically happens within unstructured data, so being able to combine insights from all your data sources will help you identify potential threats or patterns.

Fraud Solutions

Many firms have jumped into the technological space to enhance their security systems and protect their customers. Given the prevalence of cyberattacks, more and more fraud solutions are being implemented to eliminate and fight the increasing threats.

1. Identity Verification

Perhaps one of the most utilised fraud solutions has to do with authentication, including the Data Zoo identity verification and screening. This solution helps you verify an individual’s information electronically to maintain smooth operations. If your company requires a specific customer profile, such as a minimum age requirement, for instance, you can easily verify this before proceeding with any transaction.

2. Biometrics

Biometrics is becoming increasingly common in the financial industry, as technologies related to them are now more accessible. You may notice banks, for instance, using fingerprint and facial recognition for tighter security in online transactions.

3. Blockchain Verification

Nowadays, there is an influx of blockchain companies in the financial market due to the vast potential of technology. As a result, blockchain verification solutions have been introduced to allow you to search Cryptocurrency wallets for past activities and transactions. This feature can help you verify the safety of companies or people you intend to transact with.

Oppo Find X2 Pro

Oppo Find X2 Pro unveiled: New camera, 65W charging and 120Hz screen

No more no-notch display, support for 5G and a superfast charging

Oppo introduced the flagship Find X2 Pro, the first phone to use this designation since the original Find X model in 2018. But unlike that, this does not have the motorized selfie camera mechanics that helped it achieve a frameless screen.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

It is actually a phone that gives Oppo the right tools to compete with the best models of Samsung and Huawei. Find X2 Pro is available in black, orange or golden ceramics.

The screen has one of the best panels today on a phone, probably the best. 6.7-inch 3168 × 1440 pixel resolution OLED with curved edges, HDR10+, 120Hz being set face to face with the Galaxy S20.

But unlike Samsung’s smartphone, you can use 120Hz at full 1440p resolution. Underneath the screen is the optical fingerprint scanner and selfie camera cut. An unusual element of the screen is that Oppo has a dedicated image processing chip installed on it. It’s called the O1 Ultra Vision Engine and manages video content at 60 or 120fps and converts it to HDR.

The Find X2 Pro has a 48-megapixel rear camera but not the same Sony IMX586 sensor we saw last year on all flagships. Oppo has been working with Sony on a new IMX689 sensor. The sensor is larger and the pixels are at 1.12 microns but smaller than the 1.4 microns that have 12-megapixel sensors.

The company has also included a second generation telephoto snapper camera after the first one in the Reno 10x Zoom. The 13-megapixel module has f/3 aperture. It offers 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid and 60x digital zoom. Finally, the super wide-angle camera is the 48-megapixel IMX568 sensor.

The selfie camera is 32-megapixels. The specifications of the Find X2 Pro are: Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 5G, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of memory and stereo speakers. Comes with Android 10 operating system in the form of ColorOS 7.1. The 4,260 mAh battery has SuperVooc 2.0 fast charging technology. The phone costs 1,199 euros in Europe.

Galaxy S20 Ultra

Top 5 Features that Justify the “Salty” Price of the Galaxy S20 Ultra

Even Apple’s most expensive iPhone model is $1,100

Samsung Galaxy S20 may be considered an anomaly for the smartphone world. Starting at $1,400, it’s one of the most expensive phones you can buy. Neither Apple itself, a company known for its salty prices, has not set the iPhone prices starting at $1,400.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The most expensive iPhone model is $1,100. But what makes the Galaxy S20 Ultra so expensive?

1. The Big Screen

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a massive 6.9-inch display compared to the 6.7-inch Galaxy S20 Plus and the 6.2-inch Galaxy S20. But aside from the size, the Galaxy S20 Ultra screen is not different from the standard Galaxy S20 and mid-range Galaxy S20 Plus screens.

2. Big Battery

Simple at all, big phone means big battery. The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a giant 5,000 mAh battery while the Galaxy S20 Plus has 4,500 mAh and S20 4,000 mAh. It is true that the size of the battery is not everything because there are various factors that affect and that eliminate the differences. The Galaxy S20 Plus has a smaller battery but also a smaller screen leading to approximate battery life.

3. 108-Megapixel Camera

The Galaxy S20 Ultra’s main camera is 108-megapixels compared to 12-megapixels on the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus.

Not always the phone capture 108-megapixels. It actually collects 108-megapixels to produce 12-megapixel photos for most of the photos. But users can choose to use 108-megapixels whenever they want. The latter mainly applies to low light environments.

4. 100x Optical Zoom

The Galaxy S20 Ultra’s zoom lens consists of a mirror prism that produces 10x optical zoom. Optical zoom means that there is no loss of quality and detail. The 10x is impressive given that most smartphones are at 3x. With digital zoom this lens goes up to 100x but the quality of these photos is normally very far.

5. 40-Megapixel Selfie Camera

Samsung has distinguished the S20 Ultra from the S20 Plus and S20 in the 40-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera of the other two is only 10-megapixels. Normally with this camera S20 Ultra users can capture super detailed selfie images even in low light.

High Refresh Rate Screens

High Refresh Rate Screens: 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz explained

But for what reason should you buy a phone with the latest screen trend?

High-end smartphones are increasingly using high frequency screens like 90Hz or 120Hz. The letter looks like great news, and it is a chance for companies to differentiate themselves from others.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

But for what reason should you buy a phone with the latest screen trend? In fact there is no definitive answer. The benefits of a high-frequency display and how it works are not well understood by most users. While the games and content look sweeter, it is worth noting the battery consumption.

In this article we explain everything you need to know about these screens.

> Check Out: How to Calibrate Mobile Phone Battery – That’s why it Needs Calibration

What is the screen frequency?

The screens are not static. The content and movement of objects are smooth to the eye because each pixel is updated on-screen with the latest contents through the processor. But it does not happen irregularly and unexpectedly. The panels update the contents that appear on the screen at regular intervals known as the screen frequency.

Simply put, the screen frequency is how fast a smartphone’s screen is updated. It is measured in Hertz (Hz) and is indicated by a number of times the screen is updated per second.

A 60Hz display is updated 60 times per second, 90Hz full 90 times per second, and 120Hz at a dizzying speed of 120 times per second. So a 120Hz screen is updated twice as fast as a 60Hz screen and 4 times faster than an old 30Hz TV.

Faster refresh means less delay because the pixels are refreshed more often. For example it takes 16.6ms for a 60Hz display to update, 11.1ms for a 90Hz display and 8.3ms for a 120Hz display. Your smartphone screen is not refreshed all at once but with horizontal rows of pixels from start to finish.

> Check Out: GUIDE 2020: How to know when the battery of the phone needs to be replaced?

What do 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz mean for my phone?

The high frequency of screen refresh makes content and graphic movements smoother and faster. In fact, most of them do not benefit from this frequency, such as interacting with e-mails and Facebook apps that are limited to 60Hz.

Most videos on the internet are at 24 frequencies per second or 24Hz. But apps and graphics content will pop up faster with a high-frequency display.

Such screens actually make the difference in video games. High frequency has an impact on video game as well. Usually players use 120Hz or 144Hz frequency screens. Now mobile players can also benefit from this. Thus the graphical frequency of the game is in line with the screen frequency.

The biggest cost of these screens is the battery life. For example, in the OnePlus 7 Pro, the 90Hz screen reduces the battery life by 200 minutes.

Should I buy a 90Hz or 120Hz screen phone?

This screen technology is becoming popular with modern smartphones especially in the high end segment. Screen frequency is just one aspect of a smartphone screen and not a feature that will affect whether or not to buy a smartphone.

What matters most to a screen is its color gamut, contrast, temperature and resolution. If you want to buy such a phone below then you should buy one of these models:
