The Galaxy S20 is everything that users have asked for

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Family Unpacked: Beautifully Executed Premium Android Phones With Space Zoom Cameras

The world will most likely never know the Galaxy S11, nor the Galaxy S12 even the Galaxy S19. On Tuesday morning in San Francisco Samsung unveiled the new flagship Galaxy S20.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

It comes in three models: S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra. With these models Samsung showed that it did not mind moving away from the high-end segment of phones even though smartphone sales were beginning to decline.

With prices starting at $999, $1199 and $1399 respectively, the company is betting heavily on those customers who are willing to pay for premium specifications.

By paying such a digits consumers get a phone with the technology of the future, 5G. All three models actually have 5G, a year after introducing the first 5G device. In 2020 Samsung has laid everything in the direction of 5G. The S10, Note 10 and Lite variants will continue to stay on the market at a lower price.

Another equally important feature of the Galaxy S20 is the 120Hz display and high frequency response to touch commands. In all models, consumers get a selfie “hole-punch” at the top of the screen.

Everything on the cameras

But the biggest news comes in the photographic aspect. The company uses the term “pro” to describe the phone’s camera. All three models have massive modules but the Ultra variant belongs to another level. The S20+ and Ultra have the Space Zoom camera with three rear cameras. In the Ultra variant, the 48-megapixel lens offers 100x optical and hybrid zoom. Normally during zooming there is image degradation but what the phone achieves is impressive.

But the innovations don’t end there because it delivers 8K 24fps recording as well as “hyper-laps” in Night Time mode. The combined cameras produce 50 to 70MB images. Another technology of the S20 Ultra camera is to reduce the image from 108-megapixel to 12-megapixel and use the large amount of light entering the sensor.

Bixby is there. The virtual assistant stays on one of the side buttons but with the Note 10 this button can be switched on. The technology made an appearance as a result of a partnership with Spotify which brings popular music to the Bixby Routines platform.

Another surprise announcement was the partnership with Google. The software giant will provide the Google Duo video calling platform to integrate into the Samsung interface and the call and contacts app similar to Apple FaceTime integration.

The S20 is the first phone to offer full HD talk over a 5G network. Another equally important partnership is that of Microsoft. The company will bring Forza Street to the Galaxy Store in Spring.

In terms of internal specs the S20 has 4,000 mAh battery, S20+ 4,500 mAh battery and Ultra at 5,000 mAh. The system includes a Snapdragon 865 processor along with 12GB of RAM and a minimum of 128GB of internal storage.

The phone can be ordered from February 21 and will sell on March 6.

Wi-Fi 6

Everything you need to know about the new generation Wi-Fi 6

Galaxy S10, Note 10 and iPhone 11 have Wi-Fi 6 built-in

Wi-Fi 6 is the next generation of wireless technology faster than 802.11ac. More than speed, it will deliver higher performance in densely populated areas from stadiums to your intelligent home full of equipment.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Technology certification took place on September 16, 2019 and many hardware are arriving and some of them have made their debut. The iPhone 11 comes with Wi-Fi 6 technology.

Wi-Fi has version numbers

Here are the Wi-Fi versions still in use:

  • Wi-Fi 4 is 802.11n launched in 2009
  • Wi-Fi 5 is 802.11ac launched in 2014
  • Wi-Fi 6 is 802.11ax launched in 2019

The Wi-Fi Alliance said these numbers will appear in the software so you can easily tell what technology you’re using as you connect to your smartphone, tablet and laptop over a Wi-Fi network.

The non-widely used Wi-Fi versions are as follows:

  • Wi-Fi 1 is 802.11b launched in 1999
  • Wi-Fi 2 is 802.11a launched in 1999
  • Wi-Fi 3 is 802.11g launched in 2003

A faster Wi-Fi

As usual the latest Wi-Fi standards have higher transfer rates. If you use a Wi-Fi router with a single device connected the maximum speed of Wi-Fi 6 should be 40% higher than Wi-Fi 5.

This reaches Wi-Fi 6 speed through more efficient data encoding. Simply put, more information packets are set to the same wavelet size. The chips that encode and decode these signals are becoming more powerful and processing more data.

The standard Wi-Fi 6 also speeds up on 2.4Ghz networks, while the industry is going from 5Ghz Wi-Fi for less interference, 2.4Ghz is better at penetrating walls and objects.

Higher battery life

A new “target wake time” (TWT) feature means that your smartphone, laptop and other Wi-Fi devices will have higher battery life.

When an access point communicates with a device like your smartphone, it will tell you when to set Wi-Fi to sleep and when to wake it up for future data transfer. This will save energy and Wi-Fi spend more time sleeping.

Higher performance in populated areas

A Wi-Fi network will be loaded if you are in an area with a high number of devices. You can imagine a stadium, airport, hotel or market. So you will most likely have slow Wi-Fi internet.

Wi-Fi 6 incorporates new technologies that will help in such situations. Intel says Wi-Fi will increase the average speed of each user by 4 times even in populated areas.

How Wi-Fi 6 fights overload

You may not necessarily want to know the details but that’s how it works. Wi-Fi 6 can already divide wireless channels into a high number of “sub-channels.” Each of these sub-channels will send data destined for another device. Simply put, the Wi-Fi device can communicate with more devices at the same time through a technology called Orthogonal Frequeny Division Multiple Access or OFDMA.

The new standard also has an improved MIMO system. On Wi-Fi 5 MIMO could communicate with several devices at once while with Wi-Fi 6 these devices could all respond at once.

When will you get Wi-Fi 6?

Some routers and devices have begun to appear. The Galaxy S10, Note 10 and iPhone 11 have Wi-Fi 6 built-in. The TP-Link Deco mesh network also introduced the first Wi-Fi 6 routers last year. Linksys Velop are the company’s first Wi-Fi 6 or Netgear Nighthawk AX4 routers but costly.

The first Snapdragon 865 smartphone is official, and it’s not the Galaxy S20

Next week, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S20 model, with the Snapdragon 865 smartphone processor from Qualcomm.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

But ZTE from China has taken Samsung’s spotlight by announcing a smartphone that will have the same powerful processor. This phone is called ZTE Axon 10S Pro which is quite impressive, but not in terms of other specifications. Generally resembles the Axon 10 Pro, while it’s fairly simple build in.

Like the upcoming Samsung phones, the main feature of the ZTE phone is the Snapdragon 865 processor but the new Axon is similar to last year’s flagship.

But what are the ZTE Axon 10s Pro Specs?

It comes with rounded lines, a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080. ZTE has equipped the Axon 10S Pro with three rear cameras. The primary camera is 48-megapixels, accompanied by a 20-megapixel wide-angle secondary and an 8-megapixel telephoto, and a selfie camera with 20 megapixels, 6/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/246GB of internal UFS 3.0 memory.

This is the first phone with LPDDR5 RAM. The new processor is 25% faster than the previous model. The battery of this phone has 4,000mAh, MiFavor10 software combined with Android 9 Pie. However, Snapdragon has made this phone attractive by integrating the 5G network and making it one of the fastest phones on the market.

ZTE Axon 10s Pro price:

While it has been rumored that it will launch alongside the Galaxy S20, which will be unveiled on February 11, the exact date when we will see the Axon 10S Pro is unknown.

With Nvidia GeForce Now, you simply rent a computer to play

After a long beta phase, Nvidia officially launched its new cloud gaming service: GeForce Now.

Unlike Google Stadia, GeForce Now does not aim to build a console experience. Rather Nvidia connects to your Steam, Epic or Battle.net account in order to play games purchased on these platforms. More like Shadow.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

But GeForce is not free. Customers actually getting this service is just like renting a computer. Currently the service costs $5 but the company plans to raise the price. You can try the service by creating a free account that lasts only 1 hour and has less powerful hardware.

But GeForce Now is not available anywhere in the world as you have to be near the data center to reduce transmission delays. The company currently has 9 data centers in the US, five in Europe, one in Korea and two in Japan.

Nvidia is also in the process of enriching its game list so it may be that you have a game purchased on Steam but you can’t play it until Nvidia supports it.

Cyberphone is a so modified phone that you can hardly distinguish from the original model

The design of the phone is inspired by the geometry of Cybertruck.

The Russian luxury technology company recently unveiled a new phone called the Cyberphone which is itself an iPhone 11 Pro modified to look like Tesla’s wagon, the Cybertruck.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

The design of the phone is inspired by the geometry of Cybertruck. Tesla’s car garnered industry attention for some reason from the polarizing, unconventional design to the armored glass that was broken on stage.

The cyberphone costs $5,256 and only 99 of them will be manufactured. Although it is a modified iPhone 11, the phone can barely stand out as such.

This is because the device is integrated into metal plates and a screen cover that opens and serves as the phone holder in the vertical position.

By closer look is noticed the three-camera system of the iPhone 11 Pro. Beyond the exterior, nothing has changed for the phone since the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch display on the Apple A13 Bionic processor.
