Volkswagen SMV SUV Concept Revealed

Along with I.D. Roomz, the German company introduced at Shanghai Auto Show a giant SUV named SMV, reports Telegraph. Based on the initial data, it is the largest SUV car that VW has ever created.

With 5.1 meters of length and three-foot wheel base, it is larger than the Atlas model. While still a concept, the SMV model is planned to be manufactured in China, where it will be sold in two years.

Like most modern cars from VW even SMV, it will be built on the QMB architectural module. When it comes to sale, the car will be offered in versions 2.0 and 2.5 liters, while it can produce a maximum of 295 horsepower.

Volkswagen has not provided other SMV specifications, or interior views, while based on external images it can be said to have three rows of seats.

VW I.D. Roomzz Electric SUV Concept Revealed

Volkswagen revealed a new concept to the car show at the Shanghai Motor Show. As Volkswagen I.D. Roomzz, the fully-fledged SUV belongs to Level 4 of autonomy and is destined for the Chinese market by 2021, said the German manufacturer.

The car comes with 82kWh battery and runs 450 kilometers with a single charge. It can be recharged to 80% for 30 minutes through the 150kW fast charging system.

Roomzz is produced to show the potential of the modular electric car MEB platform. The company has invested heavily in this platform and aims to sell 10 million electric cars.

Roomzz will join the growing line of the Volkswagen I.D. , an interconnected autonomous car generation. Some of them are Vizzion, Cozz, Buzz and Buzz Cargo.

Still today there is no real autonomous cars and manufacturers are advancing with technologies that can travel with minimal human intervention. Even analysts have begun to predict when the first cars of Level 5 of autonomy will come in mass.

Given these changes, the question is what will be done with E-Golf as the base line is orienting more and more toward the electric future.

Also the electric car program is expected to bring ID models to the size of a golf course.

Autocar reports a GTE model of Golf MK8. However, we are dealing with a more sympathetic Golf.

The engine is powered by 7-speed automatic gear and the power is transferred to a 4WD standard by the Volkswagen 4MOTION system.

This powerful specification also guarantees excellent performance, so the T-Roc R reaches from 0-100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Volkswagen has announced that the pre-production model T-Roc R has also been introduced, but the production version, which will arrive later in stores this year, will not change to much from this vehicle.

The Passat GTE hybrid plug-in can only traverse 55 km with electric charge. Prices are not yet confirmed.

The German manufacturer,Volkswagen has introduced the T-Coss Urban 2019 model, through a virtual display at a glance at Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Amsterdam, reports Telegraph.
