Is this the Oppo device with 10x Optical Zoom Camera?

Oppo‘s Vice President three weeks ago spoke about a 10x optical zoom camera and all the information leads us to Oppo Reno.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Today, official phone pictures have been published on JD.com‘s online distributor website, and there is a lack of three-camera configurations.

All we see is a “notch” screen and a double camera on the back together with some unique colors and unique design elements.

Oppo Reno has been confirmed to come in purple, pink, green and black. But this is the first time we have a clear phone look.

The speculation of dual rear-facing camera consists of a 48-megapixel sensor and a wide-angle sensor or depth sensor.

At the front there is a small notch with 2.5D curved edges and AMOLED display panel with a fingerprint scanner underneath it.

Because a notch is missing, the selfie camera is most likely hidden behind a mechanism on top of the phone that opens when you want to take photos and videos.

Microsoft finally launched Surface Book 2 with 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor

About three weeks ago, some retailers began to display lists for a 13.5-inch Surface Book 2 and an Intel Core i5-8350U processor. When Microsoft first announced the Surface Book 2, it boasted of the new quad-core processors of the eighth generation, but it was only for the Core i7 models; Core i5 was still a seventh generation.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Now it’s official, and finally you can buy a Surface Book 2 with a Core i5 of the eighth generation. The new model, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, does not replace them with the Core i5-7300U.

As for now , the seventh generation model is dropped $200 out of the $1,499 normal price, but the eighth generation model is also $1,499.

The basic model, however, is not provided with an eight-generation chip. This is the device with 8GB of RAM and only 128GB of storage space.

Also, as you might expect, there is no option for the 15 inches model to come with a Core i5.

And as always, the Core i5 model still does not come with a dedicated GPU.

Gmail on Android is enriched with Smart Compose

For full 15 years, Google decided to launch its e-mail client on April 1st. There was no joke on April 1st, and Gmail became one of Google’s most successful products.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Today, to celebrate the 15th anniversary, the Gmail team introduced some new features including Smart Compose and e-mail to a predetermined schedule.

Smart Compose is one of the most intriguing e-mail service functions and tries to automatically fill in the text as you type.

The function is adapted to the way you write or reply to e-mails. For example, if you like Hey instead of Hi, Smart Compose will learn it. Smart Compose can also suggest e-mails based on their content.

With this update, Smart Compose is already available on all Android devices. Google said it was previously available only at Pixel. IOS support will come soon.

Smart Compose will work with Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese languages.

Another feature that is expected to gain much attention is to set e-mail delivery schedules. To date, you had to use a third party integrated directly into Gmail to send emails to predefined times.

Implementing Blockchain Technology

The implementation of blockchain technology involves initializing the network, executing the contract, and choosing the right tools in order to achieve results. It must pass the process of conversion so that a localized account ledger will be created without the vulnerability for any falsifications.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

Stages in Blockchain Technology Implementation

When you implement blockchain in your system, you can easily validate real-time transactions without the need for a third party app. It provides so many uses and advantages to users while organizations enjoy more achievements through this revolutionary technology.

Since the fundamental technologies are open-sourced, anyone who wants to become a developer can employ a private blockchain and run a workstation through a system of certain machines. With practice, you can learn how to implement this technology and understand the underlying concepts including execution and mining of smart contract.

Below are the steps in implementing a blockchain technology:

  1. Choosing a platform. With the unanimity of Ethereum blockchain, its community is highly responsive and dynamic. However, the copiousness of documentation requirements can create a fully autonomous community that exclusively belongs to the objects in the network.

You can execute codes and get money in the form of codes, too. The access is released by the door via code and can be used throughout the accredited period. Languages such as C ++, Python, JavaScript, and Haskell are commonly used in the improvement of the Ethereum.

  1. Setting up the blockchain. In order to set up the blockchain, you need to manually create the initial block which should include the chain’s characteristics. Then you share them with all the endings or so-called nodes of the whole network. You can define the block by creating JSON format file.

During the process, you need to specify certain parameters including timestamp, nonce, and others. After filling in your JSON file, a folder will be created by client Geth which contains the chaindata to be initialized.

  1. Selecting an appropriate consensus protocol. This protocol involves solving mathematical problem that requires extensive computation. Once a miner solves it, automatically it becomes verifiable to other miners. But the first one to solve the problem will get the opportunity to create the next block.
  2. Executing a smart contract. Once you learn how to create smart contract, you can mount a blockchain and run it. The predefined threshold that self-executes the smart contract can be in the form of authenticated event, amount, or date. This concept, in fact, made Ethereum a successful field of blockchains.
  3. Debugging and scaling. To debug a blockchain, you need to execute a block on a network of terminations. It should lead to the treatment tantamount to other network of nodes. Overall, the debugging and scaling process is an extremely complex practice for all developers.

Make sure to allow an expert to audit your smart contract before implementing a blockchain technology so that you can get the exact results you need.

Xiaomi reveals the 100W charger that charges 4,000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes (VIDEO)

Battery size has become a strong selling point for phones these days, but as you can expect, larger batteries will take longer to charge.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

That’s why companies have developed fast charging technology to fill the batteries.

Xiaomi has shown the new 100W refill technology that can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.

Key devices such as Samsung Galaxy S9 can handle up to 15W so Xiaomi’s technology is significantly faster.

Others have shown faster solutions. The Oppo 50W manages to charge a 3.700mAh battery to 65 percent at the same time as it took Xiaomi’s technology to fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 17 minutes.

Xiaomi introduced this new charging technology called Super Charge Turbo, in a video posted on Weibo.

Uses a 100W adapter to charge the device with breathtaking speed.

P30 and P30 Pro are Huawei's response to the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus

P30 and P30 Pro are Huawei’s response to the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus

In many ways, this smartphone is a P20 update, but it’s not just about minimal changes.

As Honor’s budget mark has gone into the hole-punch design, Huawei has decided to maintain the old “notch” design for flagships.

However, the “notch” is much smaller. The company is distanced from the “notch” of the iPhone X in favor of a small “notch”.

The P20 and P20 Pro were the latest Huawei flagships with the screen scanner below the screen. With P30 Huawei has decided to implement the sub screen.

The company could have used this option to make smaller phones but Huawei chose to produce longer-life phones.

The P20 and P20 Pro had a 5.8-inch and 6.1-inch screen respectively with a 18.7: 9 ratio. The P30 and P30 Pro have 6.1-inch and 6.47-inch displays with 19.5: 9 ratios.

But the P30 Pro is tighter than the iPhone XR. The industrial design of the P30 stands in line with the P20. The phones have the rear color glass of combined change. The frame consists of aluminum. Overall phones are thinner thanks to the curved display glasses.

Everything looks solid in your hand. P30 and P30 Pro are closer to each other in terms of functions. Both have OLED screens with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. No longer will you be facing the tough LCD or OLED solution.

The two biggest differences you notice with the P30 Pro is the Samsung style with a curved screen on both sides. While the P30 screen is completely flat.

Huawei also has decided to bring the 3.5mm headset back but only to the standard P30 model. The company thinks those who can not buy a P30 Pro may not have the wireless headset budget.

Both phones come in four colors: crystal, amber, white, black and aurora. Amber is a combination of red with orange while blue aurora with green.

The P30 costs 799 euros for 128GB of memory while the P30 Pro 999 euros for 128GB of memory. Phones are on sale today in Europe and Asia.

Four camera sensors

If we talk about cameras, Huawei has always been one of the leaders on this front. Only four brands are producing quality cameras: Apple, Samsung, Google and Huawei. It will be difficult to comment on the picture quality but the P30 Pro does not have one, either two or three but four sensors on the back.

  • The main camera is a 40-megapixel 27mm sensor with f / 1.6 aperture and optical stabilization.
  • The second camera has a 20-megapixel 16mm wide-angle sensor and f / 2.2 aperture
  • The third camera is the eight-megapixel 125mm telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom and f / 3.4 aperture
  • The fourth camera is my time-of-flight sensor (ToF) hidden under flash light. With this sensor the camera projects the infrared light and captures their reflection.

Thanks to the ToF sensor, Huawei promises the best bokeh effects. The company also combines the main sensor with that telephoto to magnify 10x.

The telephoto lens has a periscope design. Huawei uses this method to keep the phone thin.

The P30 cameras are close to the Huawei P30 Pro but slightly weaker:

  • The main camera with 40 megapixel with f / 1.8 aperture and optical stabilization
  • 16-megapixel secondary super wide camera with f / 2.2 aperture
  • The third 8-megapixel telephoto camera and optical zoom 3x
  • There is no ToF sensor

Beyond hardware Huawei says the software has been significantly improved to enhance photo quality. For example, “night mode” should perform very well thanks to the stabilization applied by the software. HDR photos and portrait should also be more quality says Huawei.

The front of the phone is powered by a 24-megapixel 32-megapixel selfie camera. And you can realize HDR video and photos in low light with it.

Beyond the surface

Huawei has upgraded the processor phone that it produces with Kirin 980 that you find on both Mate 20 and 20 Pro. The phone comes with Android Pie 9.1 and the Huawei EMUI interface.

In addition to the 40W USB-C charging, Huawei has integrated wireless charging for the first time in the P series up to 15W. The P30 Pro has 4,200 mAh batteries and can also charge other devices and accessories such as the Galaxy S10.

The P30 Pro has IP68 resistance to water and dust while P30 only IP53. The speaker at the bottom of the screen is removed and Huawei will use the screen itself for this purpose.

New wireless headphones

Along with the phone, Huawei also launched new wireless headsets. FreeLace are similar to BeatsX but with a cable.

You can remove the cable and use it as a wireless headset without having to configure Bluetooth. The headphones are charged via the USB-C port and for 5 minutes of charging you get 4 hours of battery life.

They are magnetic and can be placed around the neck. They will cost 99 euros and will be sold as stand-alone accessories

Japanese scientists invent the color that blocks Wi-Fi signals

By mixing iron-oxide particles in color, researchers have invented the color that blocks radio frequency in the highest spectrum where Wi-Fi and other higher bandwidth communications occur.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Although most Wi-Fi technologies work on 2.4GHz and 5GHz, special colors can block frequencies up to 100GHz, researchers said.

A 200GHz block color is under development.

Here’s how it works: metal particles in the color resonate at the same frequency as Wi-Fi and other radio waves, so the signals can not go through the thin layer of pigment.

In this way, a secure wall is created that stops the signals from entering the house and from the walls covered with a special color.

Use for such an innovative product is already present. Theaters have been interested for some time to find a legal way to block phones during shows.

How These Personal EEG Monitors can Revolutionize Sleep

EEG stands for electroencephalogram, which is a term for measuring brain activity.  Not too long ago these devices were used exclusively for medical purposes, but today that has changed. The ones on the market now can do a variety of things to improve our daily activities. The EEG headsets we will be focusing on are made to help people sleep better.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″ tdc_css=””]

1 –BrainBit

With the use of medical-grade biosensors, BrainBit is able to give you information about your brain activity. It is comfortable and easy to wear on a daily or nightly basis. It can be worn for long periods of time, and it is easy to use and set up. A team of scientists designed BrainBit.

BrainBit has a few different uses, including education and focus training, stress release and meditation, and others, but we are focusing on how it can help with sleep.

Use BrainBit at night before you fall asleep to get precise data about how you sleep. This device can give you insights into what is happening in your brain as you sleep, and it can track sleep phases and tell you what order they are in every night.

It can also detect possible abnormalities in sleep as well as irregular rhythms. BrainBit can monitor how long you sleep phase by phase.

BrainBit features a common sensor, a reference, and four dry electrodes. You will be able to review the data that BrainBit captures on your computer, smartphone, or any device that is connected to Bluetooth. The device has electrodes that are placed on the O1 and O2 occipital lobe regions as well as the T3 and T4 temporal lobe regions.

2 –iBand

There are a lot of exciting features which iBand offers, including lucid dreams, falling asleep faster, and waking up more naturally. All of these features help give you an overall better quality of sleep so that you’re more rested.

iBand first monitors your brain waves, heart rate, body temperature, and even your body movement. The device works using an auto-learning software algorithm to gather data about your body and brain as you sleep. After it has this information, it adjusts audio-visual signals, and that is how it can induce lucid dreaming, help you fall asleep, and wake up.

It has RGB LEDs on the headband in addition to pillow speakers. It is effective without sacrificing comfort. After you have used iBand, the app will recommend specific audio-visual techniques that could help you the most. You can still use your own music, too.

When you are lucid dreaming, you’re aware of the fact that you are dreaming, and often you can alter or change the dream. Dreams mainly only happen during REM, or rapid eye movement, which is a sleep phase. iBand can sense and influence your sleep to promote REM. Dreams and REM are essential to maintaining a healthy and rested brain.

3 –Dreem

Dreem is an EEG gadget to track and improve sleep quality. It goes through multiple steps to help you have a better sleep permanently. First, it analyzes your unique needs, then it uses coaching programs to restructure your sleep. Finally, Dream uses techniques and optimization that work for the long-run.

Using audio features, Dream can help influence and boost sleep. It uses lab-level precision and gives you suggestions and motivation each night.

You can’t improve sleep without first understanding it, which is the first thing that Dream helps you do.  Dream works to understand your sleep habits by tracking your movement, respiration rate, heart rate, and your brain activity throughout the night.

The program uses machine-learning algorithms and signal-processing all contained in a small core. Dreemimploys sound that is transmitted through bone conduction, and although you don’t need headphones, you can use them.

This device provides many techniques that are made to help you relax, including neurofeedback, phraseology and breathing exercises. It can even increase Delta waves through non-invasive stimulation. Dream also has a Smart Alarm to wake you up at the optimal time.

4 – Philips Smart Sleep

Philips Smart Sleep is 35 years in the making, and it has a growing portfolio. The Smart Sleep Analyzer is coming soon. This ability will help you pinpoint what your sleep needs are so that you can work towards fixing them. The online tool takes only 10 minutes to give you solutions and personalized feedback.

Philips Smart Sleep is partnered with Web MD to help the general public better understand their sleep. This Phillips headband has been clinically proven. It is most ideal for those who get fewer than 7 hours of sleep on average.

It can do more than just monitor sleep patterns. It can help reduce daytime sleepiness, boost alertness, and give you better sleep quality. It does all of this without changing how long you need to sleep.

After sleeping well, Someone will help you wind down for sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. The Philips Someone is a Sleep & Wake-up Light. It even offers customization. Philips Snoring relief helps you sleep on your side rather than your back, so there’s less chance of snoring.
