ADATA XPG Sage PCIe 4.0 SSD

ADATA XPG Sage PCIe 4.0 SSD reaches read speed of 7 GB/s

During the CES 2020, ADATA introduced the XPG Sage PCIe 4.0 SSD, which uses the Innogrit Rainier controller (IG5236). The above controller can support up to 16TB of storage and use an eight-channel interface.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Although Innogrit is an unfamiliar name (compared to Phison’s most commonly used controllers), the performance it offers is at a high level. The ADATA CrystalDisk benchmark shows sequential read and write performance of 7.2 GB/sec and close to 5.4 GB/sec for XPS Sage.

According to the Tom’s Hardware site, which was able to test the XPG Sage, ADATA also highlights random IOPS speeds of 1,000,000 and 800,000 for data read and write, respectively. Additionally, it is suggested that sequential speeds of 6 GB/sec can be easily achieved with some firmware changes before SSDs go into mass production.

Other features of the SSD ADATA XPG Sage PCIe 4.0 SSD include 4GB of DRAM cache, integrated heat conductors, and SSDs up to 4TB capacity. It is expected that the XPG Sage will not be released before June.

Most Expected Games for 2020

Top 20 Most Expected Games for 2020 – neoAdviser’s Guide

2019 has already ended and the year 2020 kicks off with a fantastic game like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. As for the months ahead we can say that the games will be just as impressive. Among them we can mention; Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 2 and Final Fantasy VII Remake. This new year is going to be pretty uplifting, as the two giant companies like Sony and Microsoft will come up with their long-awaited projects, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. So trust us when we tell you that in 2020 we won’t to get out of the house often.

[td_block_ad_box spot_id=”custom_ad_2″]

Then, without taking too long, let’s start:

#1. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4 & Xbox One
  • Launch Date: 17.01.2020

Kakarot is an action-RPG, but also a kind of fighting game (because it’s Dragon Ball, what did you expect ?!). When flying around the world like Goku, you feel like a ‘third-person’ game. When a war breaks out, the prospect shifts ‘over-the-shoulder’ into a fighting game. Also included are: ‘outside combat’, completing side quests, and if you have a hobby you can fish too.

What sets Kakarot apart from DBZ’s countless fighting games is its emphasis on RPG advancement. The gameplay is consistent with the anime story arc, which means that Goku doesn’t start with his most powerful moves. The idea behind this decision is to get the player involved in what Goku is feeling at different moments. It’s a small thing, but it could make the difference for Dragon Ball Z fans who have been looking for something different for a long time.

#2. Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake

  • Platforms: PS4
  • Release Date: 03.03.2020

More than 20 years after Final Fantasy VII was released for the first PlayStation, Square Enix is completely rebuilding the franchise for a new generation. “Final Fantasy VII Remake” will be a recreation of the game; with wonderful new graphics, a new combat system and greater emphasis on cinematic storytelling.

The first chapter of “Final Fantasy VII Remake” is set in the city of Midgar. The players spent nearly eight hours in the city during the original “Final Fantasy VII”, but Square Enix says the new version of Midgar is big enough to be a stand-alone game. After all, Square expects the first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake to complement two Blu-Ray discs, a rare ‘feature’ for any modern game or movie.

#3. Watch Dogs: Legion

Watch Dogs: Legion

  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4, Google Stadia, Xbox One & Xbox Series X
  • Launch Date: 06.03.2020

Watch Dogs Legion, the third in the Watch Dogs series, will take place in the near-dystopian future. As with previous games set in Chicago and San Francisco, Legion will be set in London in a post-Brexit society. You’ll be able to explore some iconic locations in the game’s ‘open-world’ as you launch a resistance.

Unlike previous Watch Dogs games, Legion brings you an interesting ‘twist’: every character in the game is a potential protagonist for you to recruit in your cause. Each comes with its own features and capabilities that you can use for your own personal gain.

In terms of gameplay, Watch Dogs: Legion will feature a mix of ‘parkour’ and ‘platforming’ exploration, gunfights, and of course hacking. Ubisoft notes that enemies will not tend to escalate fighting, so if you do not take out the weapons, they will not. A variety of skills, non-lethal weapons and other accessories are at your disposal to add to your style of play, depending on the situation you are in.

Taking everything into consideration, Watch Dogs: Legion is expected to be a real success, following the example of previous games.

#4. DOOM Eternal

DOOM Eternal

  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch & IBM PC compatible
  • Launch Date: 20.03.2020

Developed by id Software and with the release to be made by Bethesda Softworks, Doom Eternal is a long-awaited FPS game. It belongs to the Doom series and is a continuation of the Doom of 2016 being thus the fifth major game of the series. As for a little ‘teaser’ what awaits you in this game; The earth is occupied by demonic forces and is no longer the land we know today. Rather, it has become a world of nightmares and horror driven by demonic monsters. Players take on the role of Doom Slayer, fighting the evil forces of hell. Doom Slayer returns once more to save humanity, but in the process, he must suffer the wrath of ‘Heaven

Based on the information we have so far on gameplay, ‘full’ and game setting, DOOM Eternal is expected to be a lot of fun for anyone who will play it.

#5. Resident Evil 3 Remake

Resident Evil 3 Remake
Resident Evil 3 Remake
  • Platforms: PS4 & Xbox One
  • Launch Date: 03.04.2020

Following the massive success of Resident Evil 2 Remake in 2019, Capcom has moved forward in developing a new successor ‘remake’ of the past, called Resident Evil 3 Remake. Capcom’s latest project is expected to be a customized version of the game, with a combat system similar to this year’s Resident Evil 2 Remake, as well as the RE Engine, which delivers everything in vivid detail. But Capcom has a few other things up its sleeve for this Remake that could make it even more appealing than the previous one.

What we can say is that the style of play has changed completely to make Resident Evil’s ‘third-person’ games more contemporary, with an ‘over the shoulder’ perspective that really gives you a sense of control over the character. Another news is a Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer ‘spinoff’ game, which was announced as a surprise during a PlayStation State of Play presentation in December 2019. These are just some of Capcom’s gifts for their loyal fans who…, let’s be honest, they won’t be disappointed this year.

#6. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One & Google Stadia
  • Launch Date: 16.04.2020

Cyberpunk 2077 will hack our digital lives in a few months, and the more ‘teasers’, trailers and gameplay we see from the game, the less patience we have before the massive CD Project Red RPG comes to our screens.

Launched for Xbox One, PC, and PS4, Cyberpunk looks set to be a giant open-world game. Immersed in neon colors and futuristic machinery, and packed with an eye-catching ‘storyline’, the Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t seem to leave us much to worry about.

Based on countless trailers, news, videos and observations, (where you can see a bit more of the metropolis of the future, where body modification has become an obsession, and you play a mysterious outlaw in the city’s shiny ghettoes), Cyberpunk 2077 promises to be one of the games of the year for 2020.

#7. Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers
Marvel’s Avengers
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One & Google Stadia
  • Launch Date: 15.05.2020

Marvel’s Avengers has long been announced. The developers of Crystal Dynamics, best known for Tomb Raider, will be dealing with this special superhero ‘spinoff’. Marvel’s Avengers won’t fit in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On the contrary, Crystal Dynamics is telling a story that begins on A-day and branches out with common outbreaks and collateral damage.

This project by Crystal Dynamics at Marvel is an ‘action-adventure third person‘ game with ‘quick time events’ and an inclusion of RPG elements. It makes us realize that Marvel’s Avengers is not just for hardcore players.

This game is expected to be the start of what is described as a “multi-year, multi-game partnership” between Square Enix and Marvel. As far as we understand, Avengers won’t be the only Marvel game you’ll see from Square Enix.

#8. Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3
Wasteland 3
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4, Xbox One, Linux & Macintosh operating systems
  • Launch Date: 19.05.2020

Fans had to wait for a sequel to the 1988 Wasteland RPG, the game that followed it was just as good; so we can say that Wasteland 3 has very high expectations to meet. Her fundraising campaign for 2016 raised more than $3 million, and in 2018 the inXile developer was acquired by Microsoft, giving the team even more financial strength to create a complex RPG, which we are confident that will attract you a lot. From the footage and screenshots we’ve seen, including a new trailer at E3 2019, it looks more ambitious and more natural than Wasteland 2.

Being a team-based RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Colorado; featuring a lot of dialogue, tactical confrontation and a story telling us of factions of war for control of the region, Wasteland 3 is expected to have an even greater impact on fans than Wasteland 2

#9. The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II
The Last of Us Part II
  • Platforms: PS4
  • Launch Date: 29.05.2020

The Last of Us Part 2 made us wish 2019 goes away soon, with the news of the game’s delayed launch 2020, but from everything we’ve seen on the PlayStation exclusive, the wait will be worth it. Absolutely!

Developer Naughty Dog is still careful to keep the ‘storyline’ secret, so while we know we’ll see Ellie create a new life, and a love story, there are still questions to be asked, answer. Where’s Joel? Can Ellie’s love interest survive the first few chapters? Who knows Ellie’s secret? We’ll have to wait until May 29, 2020 to find out, but as we’ve realized so far, The Last of Us Part II will be one of the best games to fill the full arc of the PS4 with the arrival PS5 on stage at the end of 2020.

#10. Elden Ring

Elden Ring
Elden Ring
  • Platforms: PS4, Xbox One & Microsoft Windows
  • Release Date: March 2020 (unconfirmed)

The first official trailer that first unveiled the latest game from FromSoftware, premiered during the Xbox show at E3 2019. With Game of Thrones author George RR Martin collaborating with Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki, it’s not difficult to understand the excitement of the audience over this new project from this studio. George RR Martin is behind the myths of the game and, given his knowledge of dark fantasy, his touch is sure to add something extra special to the game world.

While maintaining the challenging ‘gameplay’ that From’s games are known for, the studio is bringing us an ‘open-world fantasy’, with more focus on RPG elements. The trailer we saw was pretty unassailable, though it was something we expected from FromSoftware; But if you are someone who likes the variety in ‘gameplay’, lots of customization options, options for different skirts and above all the inclusion of Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring is the game for you.

#11. Person 5 Royal

Person 5 Royal
Person 5 Royal
  • Platforms: PS4 & PS3
  • Launch Date: 31.10.2020

The Japanese Persona 5 RPG stole our hearts, so we at neoAdviser Albania are very interested in what Persona 5 Royal has to offer.

The great news for Persona is that the title will extend the school year in Shujin with a whole new semester. This game by Gematsu, according to our information, will include a new semester, which will be, in terms of full volume, beyond expectations for those who played Persona 4 Golden. Also, the game’s “Royal” name is meant to convey the motivation of the Japanese studio team to create “a truly royal game”.

So let’s hope our experience with the game will also be ‘royal’.

#12. Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite
Halo Infinite
  • Platforms: Xbox One, Microsoft Windows & Xbox Series X
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Halo Infinite is the next major game on the BIG game list for 2020.

As seen in previous games, Halo Infinite is expected to adhere to the FPS gaming formula that makes the series unique. From the close-knit, fast-paced game to the slow-to-kill time, Halo’s core values are likely to be adopted as they evolve with new ideas, and in terms of history, Halo Infinite will follow the story that began in Halo 5: Guardians, in which Cortana returned with an army of ancient war machines called Guardians, which she began to use to force the galaxy into submission.

We believe Infinite will simply be another proud launch in Halo’s brilliant legacy and definitely a must-see for 2020.

#13. Minecraft Dungeons

Minecraft Dungeons
Minecraft Dungeons
  • Platforms: Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, PS4, Nintendo Switch & Macintosh operating systems
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Minecraft Dungeons is set in the same world of geometric shapes as Minecraft, but as a game it is very different. A new genre, a new ‘engine’, new mechanics, new items and new story tell us that it is a complete overhaul of the successful Minecraft formula we know.

The game is said to be a passion project for those at Mojang, the Swedish studio that was founded to create the original Minecraft. It is the first of several new initiatives within Mojang aimed at expanding the Minecraft universe.

You can say it’s partly inspired by Diablo 3 and classic “dungeon crawlers”, with an emphasis on looting and fighting. You will gradually explore ‘branching’ levels with up to three friends, solving simple ‘puzzles’ and arming your characters. You will also fight above and below ground between many multiple biomes.

Minecraft Dungeons? It is definitely worth it.

#14. Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2
Dying Light 2
  • Platforms: Xbox One, Microsoft Window & PS4
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Almost five years after Polish game developer Techland gave the world a taste of Dying Light, the studio is on the verge of releasing its long-awaited successor, Dying Light 2.

The Techlands franchise has left a lasting impression in the years since its release. In 2016, she also received the following DLC, The Following, which lets you circulate around a vast village while trampling on the immortals with your 4 × 4 and even a spy-off style battle royale later.

That’s why we’re so looking forward to seeing the continuation of the saga that Techland is bringing us.

The franchise’s first game involved players with the mysterious viral outbreak that would destroy the human race through the eyes of Kyle Crane, the protagonist of the video game. Dying Light 2 will bring us a new look at this society built on the rubble of what the infection has destroyed. So, in short, it’s up to you to shape it any way you want.

#15. Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima
  • Platforms: PS4
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

One of the latest BIG games for the PlayStation 4 is almost here. Ghost of Tsushima will take players to feudal Japan as a single samurai warrior faces the seemingly impossible challenge of defending his home against an invading force. Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, the ‘open-world‘, ‘action-adventure‘ game will not include any fantasy elements. Rather, it will try to give a realistic interpretation of a historical event.

According to the information provided, you will have a lot of freedom of choice in the game, so if you like to see a bamboo forest because you care, you can do it without anyone stopping. In short, you drive the game’s narrative forward.

The game is expected to be a stunning depiction of an important phase in Japanese history more than 700 years ago. Sucker Punch’s tireless work in the game environment seems to be the best, and the ‘gameplay teasers’ we’ve seen have made us think that sword fights will be one of the highlights of this game.

#16. Rainbow Six Siege Quarantine

Rainbow Six Siege Quarantine
Rainbow Six Siege Quarantine
  • Platforms: PS4, Microsoft Windows & Xbox One
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Rainbow Six Quarantine is a new game in the Tom Clancy franchise, set several years into the future of the Rainbow Six series. After an unknown alien parasite has been released, our Rainbow Operators must fall into quarantine zones to face this mutant threat. We know that when it comes to Rainbow Six you get used to PvP, but Quarantine is a multiplayer experience that brings together teams of three against environmental and AI enemies.

Quarantine features a whole new collaborative campaign, though we don’t know how many missions there will be yet. Players are expected to infiltrate quarantine areas across the country, and use the tactical action the series is known for in order to bring out the infected. Operators from Rainbow Six Siege will be in Quarantine as they face this new alien threat, and ‘gunplay’ and combat are expected to be very similar to Siege. The developer says this virus creates enemies that are more deadly and challenging than ever before, so this will be a truly chaotic and unpredictable game.

So arm yourself and get ready for the Quarantine, as 2020 has arrived.

#17. Beyond Good & Evil 2

Beyond Good & Evil 2
Beyond Good & Evil 2
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is pretty simple on paper: it’s a space pirate adventure where some of the pirates mentioned are anthropomorphic (or otherwise, fluffy) animals, and you can explore an entire system.

In practice, it is much more; is a sequel to a favorite game from 2003 that has been in development for over a decade, with visions and scopes changing all the time, a solar system for you to explore and the usual transitions from transportation to walking to ‘hyper-speed’ on your spaceship. Another interesting fact is that some of the content in the game will be created by fans through a collaboration with hitRECord, a collaborative platform led by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Trust us, … it’s a beautiful video game!

#18. Skull & Bones

Skull & Bones
Skull & Bones
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4 & Xbox One
  • Release Date: March 2020 (unconfirmed)

Skull and Bones was originally announced in 2017, but there hasn’t been much news from the long-awaited video game since. If it can bring us what we expect on its launch date in 2020, the wait can be said to have been justified.

The game promises to allow you to command your ship in frantic seas, working alongside other sailors or fighting in ocean waves. It’s not as simple as it sounds, you’ll have to contend with the dynamic weather and world events, and learn the best trade routes to loot. As we look forward to assembling our boats and preparing to train our parrots to curse in six different languages, so can we say for now what awaits you at Skull and Bones in 2020.

#19. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS4 & Xbox One
  • Release Date: 2020 (unconfirmed)

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is an upcoming ‘role-playing’ game, developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive. This video game is the sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The story depicts a 21st century Seattle person who has been killed and resurrected as a vampire with relatively poor vampiric abilities.

Bloodlines 2 is mostly played in a ‘first-person’ perspective, alternating in ‘third-person’ for contextual activities. The player places his character on one of the three ‘thin-blood’ disciplines before later joining one of the five ‘full-blood’ clans.

#20. Half-Life: Alyx

Half-Life: Alyx
Half-Life: Alyx
  • Platforms: Microsoft Windows
  • Release Date: March 2020 (unconfirmed)

It’s not Half-Life 3, but it does work. Half-Life: Alyx is expected to be “a return to VR for Half-Life”, and the announcement of the game has made the franchise’s fans really excited. Valve says Half-Life: Alyx is a game specifically developed to take advantage of their Valve Index hardware, but you’ll also be able to play it on other VR devices.

In the coming months, we will learn more about the game but for now, we will tell you the 2 main facts about this Valve project.

  • First, it’s not a side story, nor an episodic one, it’s the rest of the Half-Life story, in a game of the same length as Half-Life 2.
  • Second, even though it happens before the events of Half-Life 2, we actually recommend playing through Half-Life 2: Episode 2 before playing Half-Life: Alyx, for reasons that will become clear while progress.

Of course, we’ll have to wait and see how people react to Half-Life: Alyx once it comes out, but we’d love to continue to get as much game content out of Valve, which would make our wait less torturous.

With the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus Samsung has somewhat softened the curved sides of the screen and with the Galaxy S20 according to the XDA phone flattening them in the hands.

At the rear is the camera system which reportedly consists of, a common wide-angle lens, a super wide-angle portrait, a macro lens and a telephoto lens.

Samsung will unveil the entire Galaxy S20 line of Unpacked on February 11th in various screen sizes and with 5G connectivity. Finally the company’s next folding phone, called the Galaxy Bloomb, is expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S20.

Although MSI called this display “the world’s first” in a statement to the public, it should be noted that Samsung recently announced the 1000R monitors within the Odyssey G9/G7 series. However, the MSI MAG342CQR is “the first Ultrawide 21: 9 1000R WQHD gaming monitor”.

It’s about the 21: 9, 3440 x 1440p (WQHD) monitor, which is ideal for FPS games and motorsport/racing titles, for which the field of view is important. The display also supports 144Hz refresh and VESA Adaptive Sync. It is not known at this time if the monitor is certified as G-Sync compatible.

Samsung’s SSD 980 PRO PCIe Gen4 offers 6500 MB/s read speed

Ryzen 4000 CPU owners, Samsung has heard your cries.

Samsung has officially unveiled its first consumer SSD PCIe Gen4, which introduces the M.2 NVMe model, which the South Korean company claims it will defeat competition in many segments, reports Overclock3D.

The new 980 Pro PCIe Gen4 SSD promises sequential data read speed of 6.5 GB/s and sequential write speed of 5 GB/s. Reaching the aforementioned speeds will require a PCIe 4.0 compatible system, which makes the 980 PRO’s performance available only on AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation systems at the moment.

To achieve these speeds, Samsung has developed a new SSD PCIe 4.0 compatible controller, updated 3D V-NAND to enable improved efficiency, better speeds and a V-NAND size up to 128 layers.

Samsung is planning to launch the 980 Pro PCIe Gen4 SSDs on January 21 in the US and South Korea, respectively globally in February. SSDs will be available in capacities of 250 GB, 500 GB and 1TB, while prices are not yet known.
