2019 has already ended and the year 2020 kicks off with a fantastic game like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. As for the months ahead we can say that the games will be just as impressive. Among them we can mention; Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 2 and Final Fantasy VII Remake. This new year is going to be pretty uplifting, as the two giant companies like Sony and Microsoft will come up with their long-awaited projects, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. So trust us when we tell you that in 2020 we won’t to get out of the house often.

Then, without taking too long, let’s start:

#1. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Kakarot is an action-RPG, but also a kind of fighting game (because it’s Dragon Ball, what did you expect ?!). When flying around the world like Goku, you feel like a ‘third-person’ game. In terms of gameplay, Watch Dogs: Legion will feature a mix of ‘parkour’ and ‘platforming’ exploration, gunfights, and of course hacking. Ubisoft notes that enemies will not tend to escalate fighting, so if you do not take out the weapons, they will not. A variety of skills, non-lethal weapons and other accessories are at your disposal to add to your style of play, depending on the situation you are in.

Taking everything into consideration, Watch Dogs: Legion is expected to be a real success, following the example of previous games.

#4. DOOM Eternal

#6. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 will hack our digital lives in a few months, and the more ‘teasers’, trailers and gameplay we see from the game, the less patience we have before the massive CD Project Red RPG comes to our screens.

Launched for Xbox One, PC, and PS4, Cyberpunk looks set to be a giant open-world game. Immersed in neon colors and futuristic machinery, and packed with an eye-catching ‘storyline’, the Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t seem to leave us much to worry about.

Based on countless trailers, news, videos and observations, (where you can see a bit more of the metropolis of the future, where body modification has become an obsession, and you play a mysterious outlaw in the city’s shiny ghettoes), Cyberpunk 2077 promises to be one of the games of the year for 2020.

#7. Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers has long been announced. The developers of Crystal Dynamics, best known for Tomb Raider, will be dealing with this special superhero ‘spinoff’. Marvel’s Avengers won’t fit in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On the contrary, Crystal Dynamics is telling a story that begins on A-day and branches out with common outbreaks and collateral damage.

This project by Crystal Dynamics at Marvel is an ‘action-adventure third person‘ game with ‘quick time events’ and an inclusion of RPG elements. It makes us realize that Marvel’s Avengers is not just for hardcore players.

This game is expected to be the start of what is described as a “multi-year, multi-game partnership” between Square Enix and Marvel. As far as we understand, Avengers won’t be the only Marvel game you’ll see from Square Enix.

#8. Wasteland 3

Fans had to wait for a sequel to the 1988 Wasteland RPG, the game that followed it was just as good; so we can say that Wasteland 3 has very high expectations to meet. #17. Beyond Good & Evil 2

It’s not as simple as it sounds, you’ll have to contend with the dynamic weather and world events, and learn the best trade routes to loot. #19. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

#20. Half-Life: Alyx
