Warzone is Modern Warfare’s new Battle Royale free-to-play mode that takes an interesting turn from what we’re used to with Call of Duty.
The underlying gameplay is still the same. You jump from a plane to a massive map and start looting to survive, always glancing at the circle that closes. However, unlike other Battle Royale games, Warzone has a distinctive Call of Duty feel. This means it contains some game mechanics that have been slightly modified.
Therefore, you will need to familiarize yourself with what Warzone offers even if you come from other Battle Royale games. Below are some questions that Warzone beginners are likely to ask. Going through this neoAdviser’s guide, we hope you are somewhat clearer with the game and more ready for your next match.
What to do with cash?
Warzone has in-game cash that can be looted just like other items. You can spend money raised on Buy Stations scattered on the map. Items you can buy include armor plates, a self-review kit, a care package, eliminating eliminated friends and various killstreaks.
How to make your graphics more distinctive?
Chances are Warzone will be a little unclear the first time you play it. While increasing the graphic settings to the highest possible level would be the obvious solution, a particular setting makes the difference.
Start by navigating to options from the main menu and looking under the graphics tab. Find the render resolution and set the value to 100. Warzone will improve overall image quality by setting scenes to 1920 x 1080; thus enhancing the overall quality of the graphics.

What to do in Gulag?
Death is just the beginning in Warzone and you can get a second chance to come back to life. After you die for the first time, you will be dragged to Gulag, a sort of prison where you have to survive a 1-vs-1 against another inmate with weapons falling there. Killing your opponent will allow you to get back into the game without loot or armor. You can join your team on the map, but you have to start from scratch.
How can you change / loot attachments in the game?
You can easily find many weapons on the map, but most of them will be basic, meaning they will have no additional benefits.
Warzone does not provide any attachments for you to receive separately. For example, the only way to find a scope or something similar is to find weapons that contain different attachments. These can be looted in supply crates or won as prizes for termination of contracts. They can also be looted by dead players.
Furthermore, you can place multiple custom loads from the Warzone main menu but they must be purchased in-game. Find a Buy Station and unlock the Loadout Marker Drop for $6000. You can then get a care package that will contain the above custom orders. You can also access custom loads through the care package required by other players.
Note that the attachments to a gun are fixed. They can neither be transferred to another weapon nor replaced.
How can you ping?
In case you started Warzone right away without doing any tutorials (like many others), remember to use the default key, confirm from options, at ping points on the map. Press once to highlight the loot and locations. Double-tap to highlight enemies or their presence. We have to say, every Call of Duty multiplayer mode has to come with a ping system.

How can you fly more often?
Landing on the ground in front of any opponent is important because it allows you to make a pretty good boot and just gives you the advantage overall. Warzone has a little trick that can help you fall faster.
Start by jumping off the plane as close to your marked location as possible. Make sure you fall in a straight line to your destination and then pull the parachute. Wait a second or two and then release the parachute to start the free fall again. Doing so will push you a little further, which can help a larger surface area. Pull the parachute again and/or jump to the ground or release the parachute for one last push.
How to heal yourself?
There are no health packs in Warzone. On the contrary, you regenerate health automatically when you are not at war. There are also armored plates that increase health from a 100 to a maximum of 250. You can hold five armored plates in total, but only equip three at a time.
How can you win Killstreaks?
Call of Duty has always rewarded players for killing multiple enemies in a row, with quite useful (and devastating) killstreaks. Warzone, however, works a little differently. You actually have to buy killstreaks here, which means killing three enemies in a row will open no way out. Find a Buy Station and choose from several killstreaks like Cluster Strike, Precision Strike and UAV. Given that they are expensive, you may forget to buy them all.

Why doesn’t your ADS have a natural feel?
You can have two different mouse senses in Warzone for aiming down sight (ADS) and aiming for the hips. However, this is not advisable, especially for beginners as they will have to learn to adapt. Make sure your mouse’s sensitivity is consistent.
Start by going to options in the main menu and looking under the keyboard and mouse tab. Find the ADS setting and set the value to Relative. This will provide the same default mouse sensitivity when zooming.
Which weapons are best?
To be honest, any weapon can be deadly in the right hands, it must be said. But there are some that are quite useful to have in any situation. The M4A1 assault rifle, for example, is ready for anything near the mid-range and is largely regarded as the most reliable weapon in Warzone. When jumping in close proximity, consider the MP5 submachine gun. Coincidentally, both weapons have proven to be quite popular in the Call of Duty franchise throughout.

Which areas have the best loot?
While the loot is random, some areas on the map have a high chance of having either the greater amount of loot or the ones that are rarer. Consider exploring areas like Stadium, Hospital, Airport, Train Station, Downtown, TV Station and Military Base. However, keep in mind that these areas will most likely prove to be hot areas as well, meaning you will likely encounter many enemies.
Can you play with your friends on other platforms?
Absolutely. Warzone features cross-platform support, meaning you and your friends can play together, regardless of platform of choice. The only thing required is Battle.net or Player’s Activision ID.
How to check your statistics?
This site tracks all players on all platforms not only in Warzone but also in other recent Call of Duty games. Just enter your username and your platform to check your statistics. You need to register first.
How to wear a gas mask?
The enclosure at Warzone is a poisonous cloud of gas that does considerable damage to all players caught inside. The only way to protect yourself against toxic gases is to find a gas mask from supply crates either on the ground, or buy one from a Buy Station.
Once in inventory, the gas mask will automatically be fitted and provide immunity for a few seconds when caught inside the circle. In other words, there is no special button to manually pull the gas mask on your face.
