Car prices are expected to be confirmed.
Toyota will bring the GR Supra variant to Europe powered by a four-cylinder and 258 horsepower engine.
Like the 3.0-liter six-cylinder model in a line provided by Supra, the 2.0-liter turbo engine is taken from the line of BMW engines.
Although it has a deficit of 80 horsepower compared to the 3.0-liter model, the 2.0-liter model reaches speeds of 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, or 0.8 seconds less.
Toyota says the new engine is more compact and 100 pounds lighter than the 3.0-liter engine.
From the factory the car comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, Alcantara leather feel, 8.8-inch central display and many advanced safety features ranging from pedestrian protection to lane protection and emergency automatic braking.
