Like previous versions, laptops are designed to be lightweight and portable, with long battery life, while LG also promises better performance and efficiency through new components, reports Engadget.
The new laptops implement the 10th generation of Intel Core processors with Iris Plus graphics and up to 24GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM. LG points out that it has doubled the power of the GPU in the new laptop models, to ensure that games and search applications run smoothly.
Updated devices also support the next-generation Wi-Fi 6 standard, which promises higher speeds and lower power consumption than its predecessor. To make sure the 17-inch and 15-inch Gram laptops can support their up-to-date components, LG has equipped them with 80Wh batteries (which is an improvement over 72Wh from previous models).
The 17-inch LG Gram has a Wide Quad Extended Graphics Array (WQXGA) IPS display, with a screen ratio of 16:10, while other models have Full HD screens and a screen ratio of 16: 9. When it comes to the 2-in-1 convertible, this device comes with a Thunderbolt 3 port and can take up to 20 hours with a single battery charge.
LG has not announced the launch date of the new line of Gram laptops, but will unveil the devices at the CES 2020 from January 7th to 10th.
