2020 Bentley Flying Spur Revealed with W12 Engine and 626 HP

After presenting the latest Continental GT Coupe in 2017 and its GT convertible, Bentley will now complete the family with the four-door Flying Spur model.

This car brings luxury and finesse to those who are looking for something more than the Audi A8 W12 and who are willing to pay a lot of money.

In the third generation, Flying Spur is longer than the predecessor of 5.3 meters and a distance between extended shafts of 130 mm to 3.19 meters.

As a result, passengers on the back seats will have more space for their feet. Bentley says that with the new design increases the presence of the car on the road with new muscular lines extending throughout the length of the car.

The style is almost all taken from the Continental GT and adapted to the four-door format. Flying Spur comes with LED matrix lights and 21-inch disks.

In the heart of Flying Spur is a twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine with 626 horsepower and 900nm rotary engine power. It is the same engine implemented at Bentayaga Speed. The car weighs 2,435 kilograms and can range from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.

LG UltraGear Monitors Revealed: The First IPS Gaming Displays with 1ms Response Time

The monitors are part of the LG’s UltraGear family and are the world’s first IPS to offer this speed, bringing them closer to the TN panels.

The most expensive model has a wide-angle curved panel and a 37.5-inch screen, 3840×1600 resolution and 450 nit brightness.

The second model has a smaller 27-inch display, 2560×1440 resolution and 350 nit brightness.

Leaving the specifications aside, their main news is the response time of 1ms and the refresh rate of 144Hz for the small model up to 175Hz for the big model.

Both are compatible with Nvidia G-SYNC technology. There is still no news about the price but are not going to be cheap. LG said orders for the 27-inch model begin on July 1st in the US and Europe at the end of the year.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB Completely new Revealed

Samsung Launches the 27 inch Curved Monitor for Games

Samsung has recently launched the new 27-inch CRG5 curved screen that according to the company, is designed for gaming fanatics.

This is thanks to the use of G-Sync technology, which means that when paired with an NVIDIA GPU, it will help in synchronizing for providing a great visual experience with no trouble on the monitor.

The monitor also benefits from a refresh rate of 240Hz, which is significantly higher than most standard monitors on the market today.

The only “gap” for this monitor is that it has a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. At this time where 4K is becoming the norm, especially when considering that it’s a play monitor, it’s a little disappointing.

The engine and performance of the Volkswagen Passat

Diesel engines are far more than ever before, gasoline engines are interesting, and the GTE version is an ecological model that intrigues.

All models have an AdBlue filter along with a fuel filter that reduces NOx emissions.

The 2.0 TDI is the Volkswagen Passat core engine. It produces 148 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, along with six-speed manual transmission or DSG automatic. The maximum speed is 220 km/h.

The most powerful version 2.0 TDI 190 produces 187 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with a maximum speed of 237 km/h. This engine comes only with GT or R-Line trimmings.

The same applies to the version at the top of the TDI diesel line, the 2.0 BiTDI 240 engine. The two turbochargers help produce 237 horsepower with 500 Nm of torque. VW also offers this version with 4MOTION steering system with all active tires.

The Passat GTE hybrid plug-in is the most advanced Passat that has ever been sold. It has a 1.4 TSI turbo petrol engine along with a high-capacity electric motor and batteries, to produce a total output of 215 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.

Elections for gasoline engines are 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 TSI, but for the moment the only choice is the VW 1.5 TSI Evo 150PS engine. The 148hp engine uses Volkswagen technology that deactivates two cylinders when driving conditions require something like this, in order to improve the fuel economy.

Fuel costs

The excellent fuel economy is a strong side of the Volkswagen Passat.

Starting with the 1.6 TDI with DSG transmission, the engine spends 4.5 liters/100 km in S and SE Business slashing, while the GT with larger wheels holds 4.7 liters/100 km.

2.0 TDI with version 150PS with 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed automatic transmission, spends 4.2 and 4.4 liters/100 km respectively in the S. SE Business Cut 4. 4.3 and 4.4 liter/100 km while GT and R-Line 4.4 and 4.6 liter / 100 km respectively.

2019 Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 Shooting Brake Unveiled
